If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Virtual Services Company, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. --TheImaCow (talkcontribs) 16:18, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

July 2020[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Wikipedia:Usernames for administrator attention. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. ~ Amkgp 💬 17:09, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am offended. I am only trying to upload a company page. Yet my username has been badged with those uploading inappropriate content. That is why I removed it. If it is the process, then I will need to remove my page and upload it again when my company is in the media.

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to remove speedy deletion notices from pages you created yourself, as you did at Draft:Virtual Services Company, you may be blocked from editing. ~ Amkgp 💬 17:11, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am not disruptive editing. I have been respectful.

Information icon Hello, I'm Amkgp. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Draft:Virtual Services Company have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. ~ Amkgp 💬 17:18, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ok noted. Please write things like that first of all - as you've upset me now. I wish you a good day / evening.

There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. Additionally, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

If you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it. To do so, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page.

This is outrageous. Am I now blocked indefinitely?! You've bullied a new user.

A user, in Wikipedia terms, is someone who contributes to the encyclopedia - not someone who comes here for the express purpose of advertising their business and doesn't read the guidelines. If you want to be unblocked, you can follow the instructions above, and someone independent will be along to consider your application. Deb (talk) 18:33, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

if you see my previous edits, that's what I have done. I am one person, not an organisation. No one else can access my account. I give up - this isn't a pleasant community. I've been badged with those uploading inappropriate content. I created a page to publish an article on the mistreatment of employees through the covid-19 Pandemic.
