Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Shankillusion, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Pallar has not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:24, 2 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations (There are several kinds of sources that discuss health: here is how the community classifies them and uses them). WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a built-in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Jytdog (talk) 17:55, 4 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Edit war warning

[edit]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Probiotic shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. License tagging for File:Koozh example 2.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Koozh example 2.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. You have an apparent conflict of interest in respect of some of your edits, specifically, citing your own research. Any article where you have a vested interest, you should propose edits on the Talk page and be open about your connection tot he subject. Guy (Help!) 19:04, 4 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Shankillusion,

You recently (July 2) added this sentence to the "Indo-Iranians" entry.

"They are said to be present among the Schedule Caste group of South India present in Tamil Nadu called Pallan dating before the Indo-Aryan migration present as a Pallava Kingdom and may have carried on to Iranian Monarchy has a suffix of Pahlavi Dynasty currently an Abolition of monarchy. "

Unfortunately the sentence has become so convoluted that it doesn't convey meaning clearly. I can not understand what you mean well enough to clean it up.

I'm going to remove the sentence, and invite you to rewrite it and add it again. Please indicate who has said the Pallan are ancestral Indo-Iranians (if that's your meaning) and how they are traced back to a time before Indic immigration.

BobShair (talk) 19:51, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

ok sir as u wish . was going through the web like the iranian chambers had some information about iran and pallava dynasty link. And starting from my mother side grand father P. Krishnan (Retired Govt School Head Master, Salem District) told that we are the last descendants of Pallava Dynasty followed by google search. And History also said our blood roots also shared in Cambodia that indirectly passes to Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and to China which was written in the Wiki of Pallar page but removed by some one. Btw went through some articles after seeing this link https://royalmusingsblogspotcom.blogspot.com/2019/08/hemophilia-and-queen-victoria.html?fbclid=IwAR18b9U3bQ2ftQ5Z_m_P481CVzVtr4_7KjNZ2iMBtTTRLIC7_DBRNzgQg8g. It seems ur country has more hemophilia than India i think viceversa might have happened even though radio dating shows yours, in India due to nature:Weathering/Competitive exclusion principle details might have been destroyed Shankillusion

Pallar again

[edit]

I have just reverted your hopeless efforts of today at the Pallar article. You have been told about our basic policies before, including that you should not add original research. Please note the following. - Sitush (talk) 14:23, 18 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or a topic ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups.

Ok i didn know btw please put it as a highlight so that we can go through it before initiating the edit nothing of bad propaganda. I am including that Veeran Sundaralingam, he belongs to the pedigree if u check the youtube u will know. If u have further differences please let me know as caste is a fragile subject. I will not do any changes without valid input again and will mind my own business as it might change our evolution were i had written them to succeed. Shankillusion
