Hi ShedMediaUK

[edit]
Welcome!

Hi, and welcome to the EastEnders WikiProject! We're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of EastEnders.

A few features that you might find helpful:

There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:

  • Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every EastEnders-related article in Wikipedia.
  • Can you code? The automation department uses automated and semi-automated methods to perform batch tasks that would be tedious to do manually.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask another fellow member, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around!

AnemoneProjectors (talk) 16:37, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, ignore the stuff about the newsletter and the automation department as neither of them exist :) AnemoneProjectors (talk) 16:52, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not Going Out

[edit]

Hi there

You removed what I wrote about Barbara the cleaner not returning for Series 4, because it was not sourced, which is perfectly understandable. I don't actually know how to cite sources, but all the information can be found here, so if you can replace that with this link as a source, that would be great. Thanks x

Waterloo Road

[edit]

Over the last few months, I have made a various number of edits to this programmes article(s). However, on reviewing the state they are in and the unpleasant amount of vandalism that is thrust upon them, I have taken the decision to no longer be involved with trying to maintain them. Sorry guys but it is near next to impossible to improve them to a higher standard without joint support from other Wiki users, and preventing them from being vandalised is even more of a trial. Good luck with anyone who try in the future. ShedMediaUK (talk) 19:57, 4 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In the recent months, I have not noticed a high amount of vandalism. I have, however, noted that the page does seem to be rather convoluted and inconsistent. At some point in the future, I will work on the page. Users have done a good job. I just feel that there is room for improvement, such as your minor recent edit for Series 7. The page could use a bit of tidying up. I am sure that someone will rectify the page if so inclined. (Galaxycat (talk) 12:41, 11 April 2012 (UTC))[reply]

Character list

[edit]

Hi Shed,

Thanks for the best wishes. It would make things so much easier if there were a way to create tables without having to deal with the raw code; I've tried to create and manipulate tables on here several times with little success. I agree that the list would look a lot better if the second half and the first were formatted consistently. Hopefully someone will come along who has a better grasp on Wikipedia's table code than I do.

Happy editing,

Waterloo Road episodes

[edit]

I can totally understand your frustration with WR articles I have seen above. Just thought I'd make sure you know that you are at WP:3RR on List of Waterloo Road episodes. I'll keep my eye on the article and revert if the user persists, so feel free to take a break from the page so you don't get into bother yourself. Happy editing. Re: Get me off Wikipedia

[edit]

Thank you very much for bringing that to my attention (however you came to see it!). I've flagged it up at the administrator noticeboard. U-Mos (talk) 22:57, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sections in Waterloo Road

[edit]

Hello. I have noted that you have recently undid a user's edits on the Waterloo Road page. The user broke Series 7 down into three parts by labelling them Parts A, B and C. Do you think that this is a discussion which should be debated in the 'talk page?' Thank you (Galaxycat (talk) 08:45, 12 April 2012 (UTC))[reply]

I am sorry if I caused offence. This was not my intention. Perhaps it is a discussion which can be opened up in the 'talk' page (Galaxycat (talk) 22:00, 12 April 2012 (UTC))[reply]

An admin has left a question for you at WP:RFPP regarding this request. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 21:34, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only you. You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If your username doesn't represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. —Tom Morris (talk) 19:04, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

My user name does not reflect the Shed Media company. I actually created this name BEFORE they adopted theres. And as a user for quite a while now, and not having had this issue before, I will not be changing my username ShedMediaUK (talk) 10:26, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I would query the dates involved - you appear to have started editing in 2010, while their article gives 1998 as their foundation (as does their website), and the name Shed Media was present on the article in 2009. You seen very involved with their productions and characters, with few edits I can see on outside topics - but never the company's article. Peridon (talk) 10:51, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
