- Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Srikanth Velamakanni, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.iimnetwork.com/team/srikanth-v.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) The article Srikanth Velamakanni has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Speedy deletion nomination of Srikanth Velamakanni
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Srikanth Velamakanni requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.iimnetwork.com/team/srikanth-v. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit]Hi, thanks for message. Please be careful using works like "pretext" since it implies bad faith, and you are required to be WP:Civil. I deleted your article because
- it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the company, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the company claims or interviewing its management. There was only one proper in-line reference verifying one fact. There were a random collection of links at the bottom, no idea what they are supporting, and multiple url links in the text. There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections. that's particularly the case when they are spamlinks to your products.
- it's all about what the company sells, little about the company. You don't even tell us where its headquarters are, although the infobox suggests that it's somewhere in America. To show notability you need hard verifiable facts such as the number of employees, turnover or profits, and you mention in the lead facts that would make it notable, except there are no third-party sources to suggest they are true
- it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic.
- Your article steers clear of facts and is basically a list of promotional blurbs for your products followed by an interminable list of supposed award and recognitions, but strangely no room for any criticisms. Reviews have no place in company articles, especially when they are cherry-picked for their positive tone
- Examples of unsourced claims presented as fact include: partner to the most admired Fortune 500 companies... helps them power every human decision in the enterprise... delivers cutting-edge... high quality information... It helps in understanding customer sentiments— and so on. Fact-free sales pitches
- As mentioned before, multiple spam links
- The history suggest account hopping and sock puppetry, given that two company accounts have been blocked, but I've not pursued this since the article is untenable anyway.
- We just realized... there is no way in which we are able to restore the page. We are not aware... You have a conflict of interest when editing this article, and you must declare it. Since you work directly or indirectly for the company, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly. Regardless, if you are paid directly or indirectly by the company you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Sheny Shah. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form:
{{paid|user=Sheny Shah|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. Please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message.

- Incidentally, I checked the history to see if there was a good revision I could restore, but basically it started as spam, and if anything has got worse Jimfbleak - talk to me? 08:08, 8 February 2017 (UTC)
More
[edit]If, after reading the information about notability linked above, you still believe that your organisation is notable enough for a Wikipedia article (and that there is significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources), you could, if you wish, post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also Wikipedia:Best practices for editors with conflicts of interest. It's fair to say that there is a lengthy queue on the request page, and no guarantee that anyone will pick it up.
If you decide to try yourself, you must make the COI declaration on your user page, and add {{COI editnotice}} to the article talk page. You should also start the article as a draft Draft:Fractal Analytics.
Make sure you follow the guidelines I posted above and also note that you mustn't copy text or images any website, even your own. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.
There are many poor company articles on Wikipedia, but pages here and here have been assessed as high standard and may serve as models. You don't need that degree of detail to be acceptable though.
I hope this helps Jimfbleak - talk to me? 13:44, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
