I have noted the "hangon" tag you applied to the above-captioned article and the note you left on its associated talk page. Unfortunately I don't see any evidence that the subject of the article meets the requirements of WP:MUSICBIO, the standard which governs the notability of musical performers; I've therefore decided to agree with the individual who tagged the article for speedy deletion. If you believe that you can provide citations that would enable the article to meet WP:MUSICBIO, leave me a note and I'll be happy to retrieve the deleted material for you so that you can work on it off-line. Best of luck with your future contributions. Accounting4Taste:talk 18:10, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Adding Dead Press reviews[edit]

Hi SiberianKiss. I was looking into Dead Press, and I don't think it meets our reliability benchmark for reviews. It also seems to contain some malware in the link. There is a discussion going on here, please join in. I am pulling the reviews for now, as the malware thing is big problemo. Cheers, The Interior (Talk) 21:48, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey SK. In response to your email, the DEAD PRESS needs to meet our reliability criteria for it to be used in our album articles. In my opinion, and judging by the "About" page, DEAD PRESS is a self-published source, and doesn't meet our benchmark. Please see our guideline here: WP:SELFPUBLISH This view was supported by other editors at the Reliable Sources noticeboard: [1] If you disagree, please start a new thread at the noticeboard (WP:RSN) and present your position re: reliability. If there is support for their inclusion, I will happily reinstate the reviews. And re: virus/malware problems, your email to me was also flagged by Hotmail as "This message looks very suspicious to our SmartScreen filters, so we've blocked attachments, pictures, and links for your safety. " I'm not a network expert, but might be worth you looking into that. Hope I have answered your questions, if not, leave me a message on my talk page (I prefer it to Hotmail for WP-related stuff). Thanks, The Interior (Talk) 00:52, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Please heed the above notices and stop adding Dead Press reviews to album articles. You can bring the site up for discussion at WT:ALBUMS if you like, and if the community consensus is that it meets our reliability benchmark for reviews then it can be added to the list at WP:ALBUM/REVSIT. Unless/until that time, however, I must ask you to please stop adding review/links to Dead Press to Wikipedia articles. Your entire contribution history seems to consist only of that activity, which is a red flag for spam and makes it seem that your purpose here is to promote Dead Press. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for promoting your website. --IllaZilla (talk) 23:39, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. The Interior (Talk) 01:11, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Friendly warning[edit]

Hi! I read the WP:ANI request and took a look at your contributions, and it looks as though you are in violation of Wikipedia's rules against spamming, by adding many links to the same web site. If it's your desire to help the encyclopedia, you should do that from now on by adding content to articles, citing the best available sources of information verifying that content. Now that you know this, any continued addition of links to 'Dead Press' would be likely to result in a block of your account, or even the addition of this site to Wikipedia's blacklist, which would make it technically impossible for anyone to link to it. Thanks! -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 01:23, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
