July 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created, North face jackets, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. mhking (talk) 20:57, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to The North Face. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by some search engines, including Google. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. mhking (talk) 20:58, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding the link to a commercial site to the various articles on trucks. Edison (talk) 19:42, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Containership operation requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ttonyb (talk) 08:18, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

May 2010[edit]

This is the only warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.
The next time you insert a spam link, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing their websites from appearing on Wikipedia. [1] [2] [3] MER-C 08:44, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I can find no evidence that your account has made any edits that were not the insertion of promotional or spam links. I have therefore indefinitely disabled this accounts editing rights. If you wish to contest the block, you can do so using the instructions in the tag below. SGGH ping! 09:00, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for continuing to add spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. SGGH ping! 09:01, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Smith1656. I have received your email. Please use the unblock template mentioned in the above orange box. As the blocking admin, I am not permitted to consider your unblock request, however if you use the template above another admin will come and consider your request. It will help your cause to read and demonstrate an understanding of Wikipedia policies at WP:SPAM, WP:COI and WP:AUTO as some are relevant in this case. I wish you well, SGGH ping! 14:29, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Smith, the unblock request needed to go outside of the above box. I have done it for you, and someone will now be quickly on to reviewing your request. Unfortunately, it cannot be me as I blocked you. S.G.(GH) ping! 18:33, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Will assume good faith that the user has taken on board our policies as they state they have in their unblock request. They have also stated they will no longer submit spam. Please do note however that if you break our policies again, or submit further spam, you may be re-blocked without warning. Regards, --Taelus (Talk) 09:20, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
