Biodynamic farming

[edit]

Thank you for your contribution to Wikipedia. I'm here to express my sympathy, knowing that you'll likely run up against Wikipedia's all-powerful skeptic faction. They pretty much control the content and tone of articles that they deem "fringe." I'm familiar with biodynamic agriculture and support your efforts. I do believe the article could be more neutral. Note, though, that everything in Wikipedia is based on sources. If there are sources that refer to it as magical and pseudoscience, it's difficult to remove that, especially if those opinions are stated in sources that meet Wikipedia's guideline for reliable sources. Then it becomes matter of arguing balance and weight. TimidGuy (talk) 15:12, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I would also like to thank you for working to add references to the Biodynamic farming article. As TimidGuy suggests, this is one of many articles that are controversial, and as such, it is hard for new editors to make significant changes. I suggest you work on other articles for a while to get a sense of how wikipedia works outside of controversial areas. Once you have some experience of how reasonable editors address disagreements, you might be more equipped to return to areas of ongoing dispute.Dialectric (talk) 18:57, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
