Mahmud[edit]

The purpose of articles like Mahmud is to list people/things with the same, or closely related, name. Branching out to list people with obviously different names creates a massive article that is of little use to anyone. Particularly if the relationship between the names is tenuous at best, and completely unsourced. What makes you think that names like Meyers (Anglo-Saxon) and Mu (Chinese) are derived from Mahmud? Can I suggest you first demonstrate that the names you are adding to Mahmud are derived from it? It seems to me that they may have a common root, but that does not mean the names Mu or Mamu should appear in the Mahmud article, any more than vice versa.
