Standard notice of discretionary sanctions
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in gender-related disputes or controversies or in people associated with them. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}}
on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Your way of editing
[edit]Hi. I noticed in your contributions that you frequently use VisualEditor. However, source is quicker. You can learn more about source at Help:Wikitext. Happy editing! Cool guy (talk • contribs) • he/they 00:07, 10 April 2022 (UTC)
- I have a phobia of anything that looks like code; I will, in due time, try to get over this irrational fear and take your suggestion to heart. Thanks for dropping a line! SpicyMemes123 (talk) 23:08, 11 April 2022 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Folkways: A Study of the Sociological Importance of Usages, Manners, Customs, Mores, and Morals
[edit]A tag has been placed on Folkways: A Study of the Sociological Importance of Usages, Manners, Customs, Mores, and Morals requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Happy Editing--IAmChaos 06:57, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
- Is my page visible to the public? If so, it shouldn't be. Again, I am new to page creation; but, I hope it is hidden as a draft! SpicyMemes123 (talk) 16:45, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, yes it is now a draft. When pages are moved, they leave behind a Redirect to the new page, which is what I tagged for deletion, and which you were notified about. Happy Editing--IAmChaos 17:39, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks. I did not intend to publish my draft! SpicyMemes123 (talk) 17:41, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
- No problem! It's all sorted now. Happy Editing--IAmChaos 17:42, 12 April 2022 (UTC)!

Saying hello
[edit]Hi! I just wanted to drop by and wish you luck with your editing! I browsed your contributions and noticed that we are quite similar— both fairly new editors who enjoy memes and accidentally put drafts on the main page today (and then apologized profusely). Happy editing! Crunchydillpickle (talk) 01:49, 16 April 2022 (UTC)
- Hey, what's up! I literally gandered at your page five minutes ago; we both left 'thank you' messages on KylieTastic's page!
- Good luck to you too Mister (or Misses) Pickle! SpicyMemes123 (talk) 01:53, 16 April 2022 (UTC)

Hi SpicyMemes123. I've reverted your edit to Talk:Kiwi Farms because an article's talk page is not the place to meander about the meaning of freedom of speech, nor is it the place for you to take potshots at people affected by the subject, as you did when you said: They are eccentric and I, personally do not like them; BUT, they have the right to be weird or unusual
. Best, Isabelle 🏳🌈 12:36, 10 September 2022 (UTC)
- Dear Isabelle,
- It's not so much me taking a pot shot at people as it is me recognizing that people have the right to express themselves however they see fit provided that they do not harm other people in the process of doing so. For instance, I am not a homosexual nor am I interested in being a homosexual. But if you want to be gay that is okay both with me and in terms of natural law. Furthermore, you have the right not to be attacked criminally for your peaceable choices by cretins, say, from Kiwifarms.
- But thanks for the heads-up in the sense that you explained WHY you reverted my edit to the talk page.
- SpicyMemes123 (talk) 12:42, 10 September 2022 (UTC)
- Just be aware for the future that our policies on information about living persons apply to all namespaces. Isabelle 🏳🌈 12:58, 10 September 2022 (UTC)
- Dear Isabelle,
- Yeah, no doubt. Wikipedia is not my personal playspace. It's a give-and-take: I make edits which are in conjunction and compliance with established custom and rule. Got it.
- But, philosophically, what I was initially trying to say in the post that you reverted is that life is a gift. ALL life is a gift. It is a gift that is both transcendental (given by the grace of God) and naturalistic (given by your parents: Father and Mother). The highest duty is the preservation of human life. Kiwifarms is evil because its consequence is the cessation of human life by virtue of the fact that, according to the Wikipedia article, three souls ended their sojourn here on Planet Earth vis-à-vis criminal harassment. That is horrible.

If this was the first article that you created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
The page Draft:The Machiavellians: Defenders of Freedom has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appeared to be a direct copy from https://www.enotes.com/topics/gaetano-mosca/critical-essays/criticism. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion Review.
