That's great news!
Glad to hear it.--PericlesofAthens 19:17, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- You should take a look at Economy of the Song Dynasty now! Along with scrapping the "Memorials" section, I have converted any relevant information from that section into prose added to the "production and employment" section, while adding a new paragraph on similar items of production (besides just iron manufacturing). It is very well rounded now.--PericlesofAthens 00:07, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

Template request revert
Why did you do this? Andy Mabbett | Talk to Andy Mabbett 21:27, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- I reverted your edit because you completely deleted my request, the newest one under the big debate. Please make your edits to that version without deleting other requested templates. VanTucky (talk) 21:28, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

- AM is correct - see this diff. What happened is that AM accidentally used <no wiki> rather then </no wiki> (without spaces) to close the quoted template, so everything beneath appeared garbled. If neither of you realised this, it would explain the misunderstanding. – Tivedshambo (talk) 06:21, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
More help with article XXX Glass
Thank you for your editing help and your active debate yesterday.
I'm not sure how to add this information properly to the article XXX Glass
In, 2003 they worked with pornstar Samantha Sterlyng to design a unique line of Sex Toys. http://ainews.com/Archives/Story5354.phtml They also have designed glass sex toys with Victoria Givens http://ainews.com/Archives/Story4838.phtml and Tabitha Stern http://ainews.com/Archives/Story4838.phtml
Will you add this info to the article properly?
Thank you , Glassman247365 (talk)
Wikidudemans RFA withdrawn
Hey, I've decided to regretfully withdrawal my RFA. Based on the numbers I don't believe it would have ever been successful. It seemed to have gotten off to a bad start and then went down hill from there. I appreciate your participation. Thanks. Wikidudeman (talk) 00:44, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
Banksy
Yeah, I couldn't believe my luck either. It was only available for three minutes before I got it! Anyway, I'll take your comments into account, so thanks for that. The Rambling Man 12:02, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
My adopter, User:HammerHeadHuman, is a great guy and a solid contributor. Right now, he is on a wikibreak (and has been for a couple months). But previously while on wikibreak, he responded to my and his other adoptee's talk comments. I gave him an update for July awhile back, and up to this moment he has not responded. In mainspace, he has not contributed since June. What is the procedure for graduation, or do I simply have to un-adopt myself and start over again if HHH is incognito? VanTucky (talk) 07:08, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- Oh wow, I'm really suprised to see you're being adopted. Anyways, the process is to add {{AdopteeGrad|HammerHeadHuman}} to your userpage (or just remove the "adopted by..." box), and leave him a talk page note or email telling him what you did. Giggy Talk | Review 22:13, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- But you've been here longer then I have! You've made >2000 edits/month for four months! Dear god, why aren't you an admin? Giggy Talk | Review 23:01, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- There'll still be plenty of users around who aren't ready yet, or just aren't good enough :P Giggy Talk | Review 23:56, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

good luck!
In all honesty Van, I've said to myself since day one that you're ready to be a graduate. You and I were just about equally experienced when I took you on, now I can easily say that you're a true wikimaster. Sorry about my inactivity lately, but the job market is slim, and I've had little to no luck finding anything. In college it was a lot easier to procrastinate on the computer, but now I actually have to find a real job, so free time is few and far between :( Anyway, good luck, though you won't really need it. I hope that you'll consider me a peer, and will keep in touch. And let me know when you go for your admin'ship and I'll hook up a reference ;)
Peace --Richard a.k.a. HammerHeadHuman 05:48, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Greetings. I ran across the newly created article Tai chi classics tonight and did some revisions for npov and expanded it a bit. I was wondering if you had or knew of any citations for writings by Chen Xin, a famous Chen family member who wrote several books on tai chi at the beginning of the 20th century. Mentioning him (or any other Chen family author you know of) would be a great contribution to a still too narrow article. Cheers, --Fire Star 火星 03:52, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi VanTucky
How's it going. I have taken your suggestions and requests to heart for the Society of the Song Dynasty, and have made some sweeping improvements to the article throughout. I have added new sections on religion and the military, as well as a new sub-section under Urban Development for social class in the Song Dynasty. I have not yet put it up for GA review again, and I would actually like to hear some feedback from you on what the article is still lacking if something vital is still missing. Thanks.--PericlesofAthens 13:48, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
- And for the record, that "cheerleading" for Chinese achievements in the beginning of the article was actually barely any of my own writing, as it was left over table scraps from the main Song Dynasty article when I created the six related sub articles.--PericlesofAthens 13:49, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
- I hear you. I am going to nominate it for GA status now, but you don't have to be the one to review it if you do not want to.--PericlesofAthens 04:11, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- They were granted long before you passed those articles.--PericlesofAthens 04:16, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the shiny thing! Lol.--PericlesofAthens 04:21, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

Hey, I've listed Banksy at WP:GA/R just to get some further opinion before I delist it. By all means pop over there and add your opinion. Cheers. The Rambling Man 15:53, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
unverified content ?
howdy.
Yes, I am new to editing this site. The page I was reading was bothering me, so I just decided to try it. However, I'm not sure about your comments on my Martial Arts section edits. I may need to understand this wiki better.
I edited some unverified content and may have introduced some additional unverified content that I felt was better. Evidently this wasn't the way to go.
If my situation is that I feel I can improve a page, I shouldn't do it unless I can cite references for everything in the section I am editing (including stuff that was already there)?
If I have knowledge of certain things, that's not important to the wiki, unless I make my own website, and then cite myself as a reference from my website?
If those two things are true then I probably can't help this community. I don't really mean to be difficult here, it's possible this wiki is something I should abandon though.

GA Review for Harold Pinter
This is a reminder that you tagged this article on the GA candidates' page indicated that you were reviewing it at 05:53, 2 August 2007 (UTC) (7 days ago). Please either review the article within the next day, or remove the GAReview tag so that another reviewer may review this article. Thanks! Dr. Cash 05:56, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
- There's no specific time limit, but we like to see articles reviewed ideally within a two week timeframe, or else a backlog sitation develops. The purpose of the GAReview template is primarily to tell other editors that you are currently reviewing an article, to avoid edit conflicts. It's fine to leave it up for a day or two, since sometimes situations arise that cause you to stop reviewing an article immediately. But it shouldn't be kept on for greater than five days, so that if someone else wishes to review it, they can go in and do so. Dr. Cash 06:11, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
Russian rabbits
How do you determine how much a site loaded encyclopaedic information? Our site is simply a more designer designers and looks more modern. Moreover, we have some resources (such Rabbitopediya: http://wiki.wrsa.ru) that are very important to Russian rabbit breeders. As Americans we are branch of the large international organization World Rabbit Science Association (WRSA) http://world-rabbit-science.org/. Artem Kramin 16:47, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Profit on Website Wdaniels38 18:44, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
The information on the site that i included listed a complete definition of infrared and the benefits of infrared. This is very valuable information that customers may not see on the web rarely. The company that the link refers to works with doctor, the institue of autism, and people like Sherry Rogers. You have a link for saunaking on your site and I called this company and no one even knew about infrared technology and how it works. I currently have fibromyalgia and I think that you should at least have a good source on your page or information to find good sources.
Thanks, Will Daniels
Ok so under where it says Infrared sauna production on the Infrared Sauna Page can I add a link to that site then like Sauna King has done?
OK well there are still links [1] and [2] that still go to the Sauna King page, but what kind of information can you add to this page. I have done alot of research and wrote several articles on infrared technology.
Thanks Wdaniels38 18:56, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
Oregon Shakespeare Festival
Hey VanTucky, I noticed you were a member of the Shakespeare WikiProject, so I thought you might be interested in taking a look at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival article. I'm having a conversation on my talk page with someone who made many changes to the article, many of which worry me, and I think it would be nice to get a third opinion. (A good cop to my bad cop perhaps?) I'm hoping to get some of the copyediting and wikification done today, but I'm at a loss about the content. If you have any ideas, please let us know, thanks! Userpage
I recommend changing the derogatory insults you have posted on your userpage. Calling residents of a state derogatory terms and referring to another person as a hick are unacceptable. What we do on this website is important, no? If you want to go to other websites and get banned from them as you claim, that's your call, but we don't use our website to ridicule others. Since you seem intent to chastise someone for making off-wiki comments, then I most definitely intend to see you not make bigoted comments on this one.--MONGO 17:32, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- I, unlike Crockspot, am not setting myself and my actions up for scrutiny as adhering to the highest standard. For you to come-a-hunting for attack fodder is childish and vindictive. Also, in case you missed it, I did say that such a characterization was a stereotype, not the truth. You also seemed to miss that I mock my own characteristics and environment. Other users literally from Kentucky have told me they find my userpage humorous, which is its intent. The idea that my userpage is being used as some serious ranting polemic against any one or anthing is nonsense. VanTucky (talk) 17:42, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- I don;t have a "problem"...I am tired of the hipocracy that you and other condemn someone for making comments on another wesbite, while you slander someone else and their blog right here on this website. Take down the slander please.--MONGO 17:45, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- I find it amusing that you come around making demands and accusations against someone who you disagree with on an issue. As to the idea that my userpage contains egregious slander, I think if Phaedriel, the queen of WikiLove, and actual Kentuckians had no complaints then you seem to be missing that the point is to jest, not to defame anyone. I suggest you stick to content, not contributors, in regards to Crockspot's RFA. Wikistalking the opponents of your nominated candidate is not exactly kosher. VanTucky (talk) 17:49, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not wikistalking anyone, my firend. Read WP:USERPAGE an get the slanderous comments off your userpage, please.--MONGO 17:54, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- To assuage anyone who lacks a sense of humor who might appear, I have altered my userpage. You have made your point of view on this and other matters sufficiently clear to me MONGO, so further demands and ranting is unnecessary. VanTucky (talk) 17:57, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
