Speedy deletion nomination of Muhammad Sumair Kaleem

[edit]

Hello Sumair1981,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Muhammad Sumair Kaleem for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Muhammad Sumair Kaleem, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. You still need to wait for an admin to take a look at the article and remove the tag, even if that criteria is not longer relevant. Information icon Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Muhammad Sumair Kaleem. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but it appears you have written or added to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Muhammad Sumair Kaleem

[edit]

Hello Sumair1981,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Muhammad Sumair Kaleem for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

You have been warned twice already [1] & [2] - stop removing the csd tag from pages you created yourself. Meatsgains (talk) 23:46, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Have you ever heard of LinkedIn? It's a huge website that specializes in helping people post information about their education and experience so they can get work. There is no reason to try to post this here because people looking to hire workers check LinkedIn, not Wikipedia. Go to their website. CityOfSilver 02:33, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I understand but is'nt there any software engineer personal article listed on Wikipedia or not even they are dead or living.???

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. While we appreciate that you enjoy using Wikipedia, please note that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a free webhosting service. Wikipedia is not a place to post personal content, host personal websites, or do things that are not directly related to adding to or improving the encyclopedia, as you did at Muhammad Sumair Kaleem. Off-topic material may be deleted at any time. This message is not meant to discourage you from editing Wikipedia but rather to remind you that the ultimate goal of this website is to build an encyclopedia. Thank you. -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 08:11, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Sumair1981/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 08:11, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Speedy Deletion

Hello, Sumair1981. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia. I'm sorry, but a page you created , Muhammad Sumair Kaleem, has been deleted as meeting one or more of the Categories for Speedy Deletion. See the message above this one for more information about why this was deleted.

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects of articles must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources providing verifiable information. Someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject.

Any deficiencies should be remedied before reposting as they can lead to repeated deletions.

Wikipedia is not a webhost. You may wish to consider alternative outlets.

If you want to try again, please use the Article Wizard or articles for creation to guide you through the creation process.

You can make test edits in your sandbox.

You may find this tool useful for finding sources: Google custom search

Please see Wikipedia:Citing sources . Template:cite has templates you can use in citing your sources. Place the template {{references}} at the bottom of the page, and references cited in the text will appear there. Don't feel discouraged. My first attempts at creating articles were deleted too. YOU CAN ASK FOR HELP AT THE TEAHOUSE -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 09:10, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Can I still create the same Muhammad Sumair Kaleem Page Or Article by leaving speedy deletion matter above my page or not?

I would recommend not to. As per the notice above, autobiographies are extremely discouraged. If you create it again, the article will be 'salted' -- i.e. it will be deleted and the further recreation of it will be prevented. Your article was deleted under criteria A7, which means you did not make a credible effort to make an assertion of your notability. All articles must meet the relevant notability criteria, in this case, WP:NPERSON, and you have to prove yourself against this criteria. Recreating in mainspace would therefore be extremely counterproductive. You can always give your submission a go with our articles for creation process, and your draft article would be reviewed for its suitability as a Wikipedia article. My name isnotdave (talk/contribs) 12:18, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Allright thanks. My last question is that only persons those who left this world has article or page over here OR living persons article/page are also here?

Living people indeed! My name isnotdave (talk/contribs) 13:33, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
How I software engineer can have a page or article of mine over here. Can you guide me? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sumair1981 (talkcontribs)
Please sign your posts at the end of your message with four tildes (~~~~) and indent them -- you'll note that my message has three colons behind it. Put one extra in your reply.
So, to start, I have some questions for you:
  • Can you show us that you have had significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are...
    • reliable (no non-notable blogs is a good start)?
    • not mere exact reposts of such source?
    • and independent of the subject (no interviews or anything that was written by you)?
Do show us. Thanks, My name isnotdave (talk/contribs) 13:50, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Kindly guide me how to show non-notable blogs and further.
To generate your signature, just copy the four tildes. Well -- Google your own name. What comes up? My name isnotdave (talk/contribs) 15:01, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
My article/page comes first at google search. what to do next. Can I again create it now?
No. You have not yet proven that you satisfy the notability criteria for an article on Wikipedia. As your article has been deleted, it showing up on Google search results is an error. My name isnotdave (talk/contribs) 15:19, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Then. What to do?
As one of our administrators says, "Kindly wait until someone with no conflict of interest thinks you are notable enough for an article." My name isnotdave (talk/contribs) 16:43, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
