Need Help

[edit]

hello, can someone help me to find the reference for my first article "Zinsland"? i will be very thankful to everyone. Thanks T.davina (talk) 18:37, 16 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but if you don't know what reliable third-party sources have covered Zinsland in some detail, it's highly unlikely that a random helper will have any more luck. A quick Google News search brought up this, though, which isn't mentioned in your draft. In particular the fact that Zinsland investors' loans are subordinated and thus far more susceptible to losses than "regular" loans seems relevant to the business model. Huon (talk) 21:44, 16 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot for the help Huon (talk) . There are a lot of third-party sources but i am struggling to choose which are good for the article. will you please take a look which references from my draft articles are just passing mentioned (or all references are not good ?), so that i can remove them and add other sources. i just need little guidance.your response will be highly appreciated. Many Thanks

Sorry for the slow response; I was busy in real life. As of this revision, the cited sources are, in order:#
  1. A business directory. Those are not considered significant coverage of a company since they aim to cover all companies whatsoever, and unlike Bloomberg's news reporting, their business directory entries are of dubious reliability.
  2. I don't know what crowdfunding.de is, but since Zinsland paid to have such a prominent entry, I rather don't think it can be considered independent. Reliability also seems rather doubtful.
  3. An organization of which Zinsland is a member. Not a third-party source.
  4. A press release, decidedly not independent coverage.
  5. Likely another press release. Konii says on their "about" page: "Gerne beraten wir Sie digital, persönlich und kostenfrei. Bei der Publikation Ihrer Pressemeldungen, der Veröffentlichung von Gastbeiträgen und bei Werbemöglichkeiten." Note also how the Konii piece mentions the 21 successful projects in the lead but omits mention of those that went bankrupt.
  6. Cash Online seems a rather niche publication and only reports on a specific project with little information on the company itself, but it does seem to be a reliable third-party source.
  7. An interview with the CEO. Not independent coverage.
  8. The FAZ is the best of the bunch. Clearly reliable, clearly independent, clearly a major publication, focusing on their newest business venture.
So six of your current references should be removed. Whether what remains is enough to establish that the company is notable seems doubtful. Also, the draft currently has some tone issues and seems to subtly promote the company. Huon (talk) 19:57, 18 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
WOW! Thanks a lot for the time and the detail response Huon (talk). I really appreciate it. I just removed all the six references and will try to find few more independent third-party sources. Now It clear about third-party sources. This is a great help. Thank you very much and stay blessed always!! T.davina (talk) 20:48, 18 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Question:

Do you own the copyright to this logo? (edit conflict)MJLTalk 08:32, 27 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@MJL: NO, i just take the logo from the zinsland website that's why i mentioned website url in source section on wikimedia. am i doing wrong? kindly guide me, i don't know too much about this also. T.davina (talk) 08:49, 27 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@MJL: I think, i got your point, i removed the license and added the note in File:Zinsland Logo.png summary. i hope its ok now and thanks for pointing out.T.davina (talk) 10:00, 27 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
[Thank you for the ping] Okay, that being the case, I had to nominate it for deletion there. Commons cannot accept non-free copyrighted images. I re-uploaded the picture at File:Zinsland Logo (1).png and provided a valid fair use rationale. Cheers! –MJLTalk 13:37, 27 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@MJL:ok got it and thanks for re-uploading the picture. T.davina (talk) 16:12, 27 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:EXp Realty, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. It seems likely that you have a conflict of interest and you must declare it. If you work directly or indirectly for an organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. If you are paid directly or indirectly by the organisation you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:T.davina. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=T.davina|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message.

Also read the following regarding writing an article:

  • It's not our job to protect your brand, please don't add ®
  • you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation or company, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, logs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the company or organisation claims or interviewing its management. Note that references should be in-line, so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls
  • Much of your text was unreferenced, or sourced to non-independent sites like the company, interviews with the founder and press releases
  • The notability guidelines for organisations and companies have been updated. The primary criteria has five components that must be evaluated separately and independently to determine if it is met:
  1. significant coverage in
  2. independent,
  3. multiple,
  4. reliable,
  5. secondary sources.
Note that an individual source must meet all four criteria to be counted towards notability.
  • The company appears to have no agents, employees, management structure, income or profit.
  • You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
  • Such as the world’s first cloud-based real estate brokerage... the antithesis of how traditional real estate brokerages operate... It re-defined the world of traditional real estate... its unique cloud-based platform... and continues to scale internationally
  • There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article.

If you have a conflict of interest, you must disclose the nature of that COI. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 08:12, 13 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Jimfbleak, Sorry for the late reply.
Many thanks for the detail relpy. it's not a paid job and i don't have any relation with company or people related to it. i will work on the content and will make the article less promotional as much as possible. Also, i founded many sources, could you please check the subject for the qualifying the notability criteria? i am confuse about it. please guide, i will be very thanful to you. T.davina (talk) 15:12, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's not really possible to comment on notability until you assemble the sort of facts I've indicated above with proper sources. You say you have found "many sources", but it's not the number that matter, it's the quality and independence that count Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:24, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
ok thanks, can i get the draft article back? i want to work on that but it's not available now. also there is nothing to contest the nomination because "Contest this speedy deletion" labelled button not available. do i need to create the new draft again?
looking forward to hear about this. T.davina (talk) 15:46, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
