Historic counties

[edit]

Hi there. You keep asserting text about historic counties that is not in line with WP:UKTOWNS and WP:UKCOUNTIES. E.g. [1], [2], [3], We do not describe places as still being in historic counties, and London boroughs and places within them are in the ceremonial county of Greater London, and administered by London boroughs. The matter has been discussed at great length and that is a clear consensus opinion. For instance see this recent discussion at WikiProject London: [4]. In every case you assert this edit, leave it a while and then try it again in one place or another. I, and I expect others, have asked you to discuss your changes, but to date I see no discussion anywhere. Please note that this amounts to a slow burn edit war. Please either accept the consensus, or else challenge it by opening discussion. Please stop edit warring the change. Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 09:36, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
