A tag has been placed on Draft:Twins in Crime (2023 film), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. I understand that my previous contributions were flagged as spam/advertising, and I sincerely apologize for any violations of Wikipedia's guidelines. I have since reviewed Wikipedia's policies and started making necessary adjustments to ensure that my future contributions align with the platform's content standards. Regrettably, I was blocked before I could complete these adjustments. I am committed to maintaining a neutral and encyclopedic tone in my edits. I kindly request the removal of my block to continue contributing positively to Wikipedia. Tantane Director (talk) 16:44, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's less about the specifics of the article, though the directly promotional links were certainly a serious problem. You created an article about your own film, using an account that identifies you as a particular film director. The username itself may be a violation of the username policy, and creating an article about your own work is at best a conflict of interest and at worst a very serious promotional problem, even without the links. We have a list of "things to avoid when creating your first article", and number one is "things about yourself or people you know" and number two is "promotion". AntiDionysius (talk) 16:54, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
First, I want to express my understanding and appreciation for your time and the guidance you've provided. I have come to realize that there may be issues with the Wikipedia page associated with my film project. Therefore, I would like to request the deletion of the page. I believe it is best to have professionals and experienced Wikipedia editors address and resolve these concerns. I am committed to adhering to Wikipedia's guidelines in the future and ensuring that any contributions are in compliance. Thank you for your assistance and understanding in this matter. Tantane Director (talk) 17:07, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I appreciate your response to my unblock request. I acknowledge the reasons for my block, which were related to creating an article about my own film using an account that identifies me as a particular film director. I understand that this may have been a violation of Wikipedia's username policy and a conflict of interest. Furthermore, I recognize that the article I created may have had promotional elements, even without the directly promotional links.
I have thoroughly reviewed Wikipedia's guidelines and understand the importance of adhering to them. I apologize for any damage or disruption my previous contributions may have caused, and I am committed to making useful and constructive contributions in line with Wikipedia's policies. To rectify these issues, I now understand the need to prepare content that is free from promotional language. I also plan to reach out to professionals to handle the adaptation for the film project, ensuring that no self-adaptations are made. I kindly request a reconsideration of my unblock request, and I assure you that I will continue to adhere to Wikipedia's guidelines. Tantane Director (talk) 17:43, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I understand your decision to decline my unblock request. I acknowledge that my previous contributions may have caused damage or disruption to Wikipedia, and I take full responsibility for this. I now have a clearer understanding of the reasons for my block, particularly regarding the creation of an article about my own film and potential promotional elements.
I want to assure you that I am fully committed to not causing further damage or disruption and to making useful contributions to Wikipedia in the future. I also understand that, as the owner of the content, and especially if the content is about me, I have no right to create or edit articles about it. Wikipedia's 'Conflict of interest' (COI) guidelines advise against such actions, and I am fully committed to adhering to these guidelines.
I kindly request a reconsideration of my unblock request, and I am determined to demonstrate my commitment to Wikipedia's policies. Additionally, I would like to request the deletion of the article related to my film. Tantane Director (talk) 18:42, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Tantane, what "article related to my film"?--Bbb23 (talk) 20:32, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I believe they're referring to Draft:Twins in Crime (2023 film), but it was deleted a while ago. AntiDionysius (talk) 23:28, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • What edits do you wish to make, since you won't be editing about your films? 331dot (talk) 07:44, 5 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I kindly request the permanent closure and deletion of my account, as I no longer have a need for it. Please proceed with the necessary steps to finalize this request. Tantane Director (talk) 09:29, 5 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It is not possible to delete an account. However, you are free to simply stop using it. Note that blocks apply to the person, not just the account, so while this account remains blocked, you are not permitted to edit en.wikipedia. --Yamla (talk) 10:46, 5 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
