[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Maksim Behar a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 01:35, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
- Please read. The correct spelling is Maxim Behar. See: Greetings from Bulgarian Jewish Leader Maxim Behar. Teemscaws (talk) 01:35, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
- Then as I noted, you will need to request the page to be moved back. See WP:RM for more guidance on requesting a page move. —C.Fred (talk) 01:36, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
- But did you see the link that I added. The correct spelling is Maxim Behar. See: Greetings from Bulgarian Jewish Leader Maxim Behar. See the Link:Greetings from Bulgarian Jewish Leader Maxim Behar

- That would be worth pointing out at Talk:Maksim Behar in discussion about a page move. (Although I'm not sure, at first glance, if it's a reliable source. —C.Fred (talk) 01:41, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Maksim Behar, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. The history of the page exists at Maksim Behar. You cannot just copy and paste the text to another title. You must go through move discussion, get consensus, and get an administrator to assist with the move. —C.Fred (talk) 01:53, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
- Could you assist me with that move from Maksim Behar to Maxim Behar? (By the way, the reason mentioned by Yogisenact - "citing the official transliteration of Bulgarian" is most likely for mainly ethnic Bulgarians and their names, and people with foreign descent like in his case, he is a member of a Middle Eastern minority and is entitled to have his name spelled the way he wants.) Teemscaws (talk) 01:59, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
- As I noted, you'l need to go through the WP:RM process, and that calls for wide discussion about the move. As a result, it could be a week, or more, before the move is made. —C.Fred (talk) 02:00, 17 September 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm JustBerry. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Maxim Behar, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. JustBerry (talk) 21:05, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
