Welcome![edit]

Hello, TheMahiC, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask a question on your talk page. Again, welcome.  GermanJoe (talk) 23:15, 24 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello TheMahiC, some basic information about referencing is available at WP:REFB. Also, IMDB is generally not considered a reliable source (a lot of the content can be added without any oversight or fact-checking). Hope this information is helpful, please feel free to ask anytime if you have further questions. Best regards. GermanJoe (talk) 23:18, 24 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for May 11[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Sharad Kelkar

Your edits to Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai[edit]

Thank you for your edits to Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai but please note the following.

  • Regarding this edit and this one, per WP:PROTAGONIST we do not include terms such as protagonist, antagonist etc.
  • This edit added "Casts" to a level 3 heading titled "Main". Firstly, since the level 2 heading is "Cast" your edit was redundant, since it is already clear that the section is about cast. "Casts" is not the appropriate word. The correct word, if it was necessary to include it, would be "cast". Finally, Wikipedia uses sentence case for headings, so "cast" should not be capitalised. However, as pointed out the word should not be included.

Please do not restore these edits. Thank you. --AussieLegend () 18:52, 24 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

July 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Cyphoidbomb. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Bhoomi (film), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. August 2017[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Bhoomi (film), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Diffs: 2 edits. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:23, 9 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

September 2017[edit]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Bhoomi (film). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. GermanJoe (talk) 22:18, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, please add sources (Wikipedia is not IMDB, where everyone can add totally unsourced and unverifiable details). Adding a source is easy: just add <ref>link to the webpage where you found the information</ref> after the newly added information. You can format the link with Template:cite web, but even adding a raw unformatted link would be helpful. Thank you for your consideration. GermanJoe (talk) 22:26, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Sharadkelkar.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Disambiguation link notification for May 2[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sharad Kelkar, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Romantic (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
