Non-breaking spaces[edit]

Hello! Sorry about the slightly-lecturing tone of the template above – its heart is in the right place, though I hope it did not offend you! What I meant is that in an edit like this it is hard to see whether you are removing the non-breaking spaces (please see MOS:NBSP) because you don't like them, or because the software you are using doesn't see them, or what. I think they are useful there because they prevent the date from breaking in a way that reads awkwardly, but an edit summary explaining their removal might have avoided this conversation entirely! The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
