Heroes
[edit]Hello... your last edit at List of characters in Heroes was reverted, but since it was through a script I didn't get a chance to explain why. (Sorry about that.) I can understand your reason for making the change - however, apparently one of the Heroes comics has D.L. surviving. Here's a link to the discussion on the talk page. Cheers. --Ckatzchatspy 04:53, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit]I will be honored to help you. Thanks. Well, actually I don't want the other articles deleated. But,hey! These articles can help people find more about the characters. You know, what's really messed up? A rude Wikipedian has erased my part of the afterlife of Ghost Whisperer! I was so mad, I was not really "Angelic" then. So I decided to make that part as an article. And heck, I'm going to even create your alive and dead list and may I suggest that you make a user page or turn your uncreated user page into a redirect page to your talk page. Talk no erz, why are you not responding? Uhh.. Hello! Anybody a no erz's house? Hello? Hello! Hello.

Wait a minute! It was you who deleted by afterlife section! How could you!?--Angel David (talk•contribs) 22:05, 5 September, 2007 (User Talker Contributor)
I wasn't calling you an ugly butt. I was reffering to someone else. You gave me the greatest idea and offer I was ever asked for so for on Wikipedian. I wasn't reffering to you. There was another user who deleted it and if you want to find out stay active on here for a little while.--Angel David (talk•contribs) 22:49, 17 September, 2007 (User Talker Conributor)

Hi. Can you please merge the article? Now we have enough consensus to do it with no problem. I would do it but I'm not very good in making good short summaries. Please place somewhere the photo in which she shifts shapes. All the other photos are not needed. Friendly, Magioladitis (talk) 10:48, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- It's just great. Distinguishing the valuable information from the non-valuable is a very difficult task and you did it with great success. We now have a very good section corresponding the Candice's appearance in the show. Not that big, not that small and very well weighted between in-universe and out-universe details. Cheers. -- Magioladitis (talk) 10:00, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
peer review
[edit]I was wondering if you could take some time out of your schedule to head over to the Heroes (TV series) talkpage and give us an honest peer review. The page has gone through some major changes in the last few months, and it would be fantastic if a prominent editor/contributor like yourself, could head over and give us at the Heroes Wikiproject some sound opinion and ideas on improvements for the page. We have all worked very hard at improving the page, and we need great outside, reliable and trustworthy users to come over and help us improve. I you are interested in joining the peer review discussion with other prominent users/contributors, much like yourself, please follow the link. Thank you very much for your help and your continued effort to improve Wikipedia and its quality! Hi. Can someone please merge Claude to List of minor Heroes characters with special abilities ? I think we agreed with that but never happened. The article lacks any real world information and its mainly plot description.
Thanks, Magioladitis (talk) 07:54, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Cameron phillips s1 promo.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Cameron phillips s1 promo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:33, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit]I didn't revert your edit. You made this edit; I made this edit; and this is the composite. If it were just a straight revert, the two edits would have canceled out, and the composite would be blank. I did restore some of the content that was removed from the second paragraph of the lead, as I think it's important as a basic up front characterization. I also moved the info you added into its own paragraph as I thought that it was important (and long) enough, and that the second paragraph would have been overly long with everything stuck together. The other minor stuff was either awkward grammatically, or (as in the sentence that begins with "In which") grammatically incorrect (it's a dependent clause, and doesn't really make a complete sentence). One Hundered and One Dalmations
[edit]Hey great job on your new version! It's beautiful! However, I think for sections like the plot and the reception, you should keep the current ones and just add to it/rewrite it. The intro needs to be expanded too, so I'd do that too. There are other articles simialar to this one that need help too, cheack out User talk:Tanthalas39#Bambifan101 favorite targets. I just so happened to witness some truly god-aweful-ly written articles. And the worst part is the Bambifan101 user vandalizes them daily, their now protected though. I think he wants to help, but needs help himself. If you can take some of the versions he makes, and fix 'em up, he'll go away and you can ask Collection to get Tanthalas39 to unprotect them. One of the most desperite ones is Bambi, a famous and inspired film like this needs a MUCH better article. And My Neighbor Totoro, an anime as famous as this NEEDS a GA! Just thought I'd help. Look at the history of the articles, and find the versions made by the sockpuppts and see if you can get something out of them. OR if you don't have time, I may either: (A) Send you a link to those versions, or (B) put a version I find in your sandbox. 70.146.212.49 (talk) 21:03, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
- Hello? 70.146.212.49 (talk) 22:42, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
- Hi! I'm really sorry I wasn't able to respond immediately. I've been busy, trying to get a bunch done before going back to school next week. I'd appreciate it if you could send me the versions of the pages you wanted me to look at. Thanks for the compliment, too :)The no erz (talk) 08:20, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
re: talk:Charmed#About those tags
- You're entitled to your opinion but it'd be far more impressive, not to mention efficient (than citing guidelines like a prick) if you were to actually do some constructive editing and fix some of the issues you complain about. Talk is very cheap. The world has enough know it all's and givers of unwanted advice.
- Oh, one annotates a heading with major terms or phrases when such redirect links might drop an unwary reader into a page for which they have no context... call it courtesy and common sense. Disconnecting the customers isn't smart. See the various disambig and Redirect templates for examples which have been institutionalized for years... there were six to ten or so last I looked. oh... I forgot, you've longevity just short of one of those years, so you may not know it all after all. Sheesh! // FrankB 04:58, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
Looking for editors to help with an Asian Pacific American edit-a-thon in Honolulu
[edit]Aloha!
Last summer I moved to the Seattle area after 14 years in Kailua on Oahu. I immediately fell in with the Cascadia Wikimedians User Group as it formed, joined its board and became its first president as well as the GLAM representative for Washington State.
Recently, Adriel Luis, Curator (Digital & Emerging Media) at the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center, contacted me about setting up an edit-a-thon like the previous Wikipedia APA edit-a-thon. In addition to discussing one for Seattle, he wrote:
“ | It's awesome to learn about your past in Honolulu - I'm actually going to be there for another SmithsonianAPA project mid September, and thinking that this could be an opportunity to do an event there as well! I have lots of contacts with UH and the museums, but do you know of any contacts on the Wikimedia side out there? | ” |
As I was working two jobs while I lived on Oahu, I did not have the opportunity to meet your or any other Wikipedians at the time. Hence, the reason why I am contacting you now.
If you would like to help, please contact me through one of these methods:
- Email me directly at peaceray@cascadia.wiki
- Use Special:EmailUser/Peaceray to email me
- Leave a message for me on my talk page.
Mahalo,
