Relying on IMDb for biographical information
[edit]You cannot use IMDb as a source of information about actors, directors, etc. You can only use info from IMDb for two purposes -- and they are not about personal and career details. You need to pay attention to any hidden message that appears when you open both the Visual and Source edit screen. Become familiar with Wikipedia's sourcing policies, starting with: WP:RS/IMDB, WP:USERGENERATED, WP:CITINGIMDB. Pyxis Solitary (yak). L not Q. 20:40, 5 September 2020 (UTC)
Using unacceptable and questionable sources in BLPs
[edit]I've seen some of the BLPs you've edited and saw that you have been relying on WP:UGC sources and other sources not permitted under Wikipedia's WP:RS policy. You cannot continue to edit BLPs with disregard for what sources are acceptable. The time is overdue for you to read and digest Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons (aka WP:BLP) and WP:V.
I've now made you aware of why you cannot use user-generated sources, and made you aware of BLP and Verifiability policies. Try not to forget what has been brought to your attention. Pyxis Solitary (yak). L not Q. 00:15, 11 September 2020 (UTC)

[edit] Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, you may be blocked from editing. You have been warned enough now about use of poor sources. The Guardian is an example of a reliable source. The New York Times is an example of a reliable source. Blogs, obscure websites with no reputation for professional fact-checking and the first link you find on Google are not examples of reliable sources. — Bilorv (talk) 19:16, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
