Help
Welcome back : )
I have two closes to ask you if you wouldn't mind helping with
In relation to the RfD one, I discovered that there was no WP:RFD/W (compared to WP:CFD/W), and so we are discussing that at WP:BOTREQ. So hopefully something good will come out of this : ) - jc37 21:18, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the welcome! I've had a look at the Template:S one and I've tried to remove it from most of the pages, there seem to be a few left that I can't quite figure out what is causing them to remain (I'm thinking it's in one of the templates from this list), I'll have another look tomorrow to see if I can solve that! With regards to the reverse merge, would it be possible for you to provide me with an example of what needs to be done, and if there's a list of pages where the reverse needs to happen? If it was edits done just by one user within a particular time frame using some tools that exist which are able to mass-undo might also work, but I'll have a look at this too. Hope you are well! Thehelpfulone 22:25, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you : )
- For the CfD one, it's just moving all "Presidencies of..." cats and articles to Category:Presidencies of the United States.
- I'll take a look at the RfD one too.
- Thanks again : ) - jc37 22:37, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
- You're most welcome. Ah, thanks for clarifying the CfD one, that was simple enough and should be done now, I also deleted the Category:United States presidential administrations page and corresponding talk page as I presume they're no longer needed. Thehelpfulone 23:03, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
- Oh. My apologies for being unclear. Only those cats/pages which matched "presidencies of X". The rest were to stay : )
- Please undo the deletion. Since there are only a few, I'll move the others back.
- And sorry again for the confusion. - jc37 23:53, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
- Oops, sorry about that! I'm always happy for an admin (or indeed anyone where technically possible) to revert one of my actions if they don't agree with it so long as they let me know, I restored the page but please don't hesitate to restore it yourself in the future! :-) Thehelpfulone 15:52, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
- Tried to figure out the RfD one, but so far not seeing it. I have noticed that Template:Fmbox is a recurring template. And Template:Citation/core is a possibility too. I'll keep looking : ) - jc37 00:24, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hmm, I'll have another poke around myself too. Thehelpfulone 15:52, 6 December 2012 (UTC)

tag a large number of templates for TfD
could you have your bot tag all the templates listed in this discussion? basically, you want to add
{{Template for discussion/dated|page={{subst:PAGENAME}}|link=Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2012 December 5#Unused_template:.2A.2Fmeta.2Fshortname.2C_template:.2A.2Fmeta.2Fcolor.2C_template:.2A.2Fmeta.2Fabbr}}
to each page, preferably just after the <noinclude> if there is one, but it shouldn't matter too much since they are all unused. if you can't do it, I can ask another bot-op. thank you. Frietjes (talk) 00:14, 6 December 2012 (UTC)

Please stop the bot
Removing hidden comments is not a helpful thing to do. Beyond My Ken (talk) 20:46, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
Nevermind, I see a specific comment is targeted. No problem. Beyond My Ken (talk) 20:48, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
- No problem, thanks for following up and also asking me directly instead of going straight to a drama noticeboard! Thehelpfulone 21:26, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
Please revert the actions of the bot. The request was disruptive, as you will see from the comments at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Classical music, and had not been discussed with any of the projects overseeing these articles. Thanks. --Deskford (talk) 23:45, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
- In fact I see several editors have started the process of reverting these edits by hand, so I've done a few too. I notice that in some cases, e.g. Felix Mendelssohn, the bot came and removed the comment a second time after being reverted once. Please make sure it won't do this again - we really don't want an edit-warring bot! --Deskford (talk) 00:29, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hi thanks, I've replied to the conversation at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Classical_music#Infoboxes_.28yet_again.29. to keep the discussion in one place, and that happened because once I'd run through the generated list once I ran through it again to make sure that it didn't miss any. I assure you it's not quite clever enough to edit-war, and if it was I'd have blocked it myself! Thehelpfulone 00:32, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
- Aha - that makes sense! Thanks for your understanding! --Deskford (talk) 00:40, 27 December 2012 (UTC)

- It would be interesting to have your explanation for the removal of the request not to inset an info box on the Fromental Halévy and other opera articles. As with the WikiProject Classical music, there appears to have been no discussion with the corresponding opera project either. Viva-Verdi (talk) 23:56, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
ACC right request
Hello, thehelpfulone. You said to contact you when I hit the 6 max ceiling for account creation a few times. Well, I've hit it three times, and there are currently 26 open requests that are going undone. I would tackle them but I'm within the 24 hour window for the 6 max ceiling. Please consider giving me the account creator right. Thanks. Guðsþegn (talk) 15:10, 27 December 2012 (UTC)

Wikiproject notes in articles
Pls see Wikipedia:Village pump (policy)#Wikiproject notes in articles - The issues may be much bigger then just the note on the pages - However I believe the viability of the note its self is what we should talk about at this time.Moxy (talk) 23:56, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
