Welcome!

Hello, Thorlaug, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!  NickelShoe (Talk) 22:20, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thorlaug has been proposed for deletion. I felt this is more a dictionary definition than an encyclopedia article. Please review Wikipedia:Wikipedia is not a dictionary for the relevant policy. If you can expand the article to address these concerns, please do so, or explain your plans on the talk page.

If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" notice, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod notice, the deletion process will stop, but if an editor is still not satisfied that the article meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion for consensus. Information icon Welcome, and thank you for contributing the page Síra Jón Erlendsson to Wikipedia. While you have added the page to the English version of Wikipedia, the article is not in English. We invite you to translate it into English. It has been listed at Pages Needing Translation, but if it is not translated within two weeks, the article will be listed for deletion. Thank you. power~enwiki (π, ν) 23:28, 23 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article Síra Jón Erlendsson has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Has been listed at pages needing translation for more than 2 weeks without progress.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Instead of moving the article to the Icelandic Wikipedia you deleted it. BRAVO. This is quintessentially what's happening to Wikipedia. It is no longer operated with any sense or thought, it has been run over by mindless assholeness, take a look at the idiotically detailed instructions for how to speak on talk pages. Is all about autistic nerds enforcing idiotic standards and guidelines upon others without discretion. Instead of moving the page to IS/Icelandic domain or simply pending it here until I had a chance to review it, wikinerd gave me a 2-week deadline without any information on how to place the page where it was supposed to go, into a different language wiki. It was obvious and easily fixed for you, but instead you pasted the standard deletion BS to send me off to do research. It is your choice to delete rather than fix, not mine.

What a pointless douchebaggery. Power tripping on Wikipedia (and female bashing wherever) is the small geek minds past time. I see you. We see you.

As instructed: here are my four tildes, written with my middle finger (what a load of good they did :D )
