Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. mgeo talk 10:07, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, nice collage you did for the Zurich article (much better than mine!). Thanks. mgeo talk 17:41, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You shouldn't, however, add non-free content to wikipedia pages. Please don't add images again unless you're sure they won't be deleted, thanks! mgeo talk 08:50, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Zurich. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in you being blocked from editing. mgeo talk 19:23, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning; the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Zurich, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. mgeo talk 21:50, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed you added a link to an image on an external website in a recent edit, possibly in an attempt to display that image on the page. For technical and policy reasons it is not possible to use images from external websites on Wikipedia. If the image meets Wikipedia's image use policy, consider uploading it to Wikipedia yourself or request an upload. See the image tutorial to learn about wiki syntax used for images. Thank you.--5 albert square (talk) 00:28, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of three days for edit warring, as you did at Zurich. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. JohnCD (talk) 16:13, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

Please do not add non-free content to wikipedia pages in the future. When freely licensed images are available it is unacceptable to substitute them with copyrighted works. Also when creating collages, make sure each image is properly attributed (see examples). Thank you. mgeo talk 17:14, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • If your changes are reverted, you must discuss them on the article talk page, and try to reach WP:Consensus with other editors. If you cannot reach consensus, there are WP:Dispute resolution procedures. Edit warring is not allowed, even if you are sure you are right, even if you are right, because it means that articles end in the state preferred by the most obstinate edit warrior. If after this block expires you continue to edit-war, your next block is likely to be indefinite. JohnCD (talk) 22:10, 9 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hey, this is just a heads-up that if you continue to edit-war on the Zurich article your next block will probably be an indefinite one. You might want to use the duration of your current block to think about and research other ways of editing, because edit-warring isn't ok here. --John (talk) 18:54, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
