July 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Schistocyte. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Transgender youth seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Schistocyte (talk) 21:13, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I just wanted to add that I saw your comment on your most recent revert.[1] I am terribly sorry that you lost your friend. I won't even begin to imagine how that must feel. If you feel this edit is important, I would encourage you to include it in the appropriate section with verifiable sources (WP:NOR) rather than the article's lead. Schistocyte (talk) 21:32, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
With all due respect, the lead of the article is where the simple statement that bullies are responsible for causing suicides belongs. Up front. Everyone needs to see that and come to terms with it in order for bullies to finally be held accountable and for the suicides to stop. Transteen (talk) 23:17, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I totally empathize with what you are saying and respect your passion. But I hope you can appreciate that the purpose of a Wikipedia article is not to hold people accountable. I would encourage you to share your views and attempt to try and build concensus on the article's talk page.[2]. Schistocyte (talk) 00:02, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Trans bashing. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Schistocyte (talk) 02:14, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

How could that be construed as point of view? Bullying IS a form of trans bashing. Transteen (talk) 02:17, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Again, I'm really sorry that you lost someone who you care about. But the content addition is unsourced, making it your own personal opinion/commentary. Thus it is not considered neutral. Schistocyte (talk) 02:30, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I see. How transphobic are you, Schistocyte? You seem to be going out of your way to follow me here as an apparent trans bashing apologist... you are certainly taking that side when you revert all my edits anyway. And yes, I see your next warning template below. Don’t worry, I read your message loud and clear that trans people are not welcome at Wikipedia. I thought this was a progressive place but apparently it’s just as full of bigots as Yorkshire. Transteen (talk) 02:39, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Please don't cast aspersions on other editors. I'll add a welcome template, please see the part about assuming good faith. EvergreenFir (talk) 02:46, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Who is casting aspersions here? It would seem to be you, assuming bad faith on my part. And you don’t need to tell me it’s because I’m transgender - that much I already know. I guess I didn’t realise there truly is no safe space for us. Transteen (talk) 02:49, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Transteen: I'm sorry you feel that way. I certainly do not believe the way you think I do, and hope upon further reflection you might consider that my comments and reverts assumed good faith. Schistocyte (talk) 03:38, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to List of suicides that have been attributed to bullying. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Schistocyte (talk) 02:19, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Assuming good faith[edit]

So much for assuming good faith, @EvergreenFir: you run off and file an SPI. I suppose you’re the most bigoted of them all. Transteen (talk) 03:06, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
