Hello, Tridibs. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Grassroot Entertainment".

Information icon Hello, I'm Largoplazo. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Pavel (film director) seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Largoplazo (talk) 13:15, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Very Happy

[edit]

I am very happy that you have beautifully articulate the page. Much Better than me. Thank you. Tridibs (talk) 14:09, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, Thank you. Can you please re edit the article using neutral english? Thank you. Tridibs (talk) 01:40, 1 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Non-neutral language, your opinions, etc.

[edit]

Hi there, though your efforts are appreciated, the entirety of the content you added in these edits is problematic for one reason or another:

  1. Wikipedia is a neutral encyclopedia and as such, we are supposed to use neutral language to describe subjects. We are not here to lavish praise or eviscerate article subjects. Words like "all-time blockbuster", "blockbuster", "hit", "superhit", "failure", "flop", "disaster", "rotten", or any other declaration issued by the Indian media, is not appropriate for inclusion. Phrases like "the film was considered successful" or "the film did not perform well at the box office" are closer to neutral, but such claims would have to be properly sourced, meaning you'd have to find a source that says explicitly that the film performed a certain way.
  2. Same thing with claims like "Jeet went on becoming most favourite hero of cinegoirs". We're not here to add our personal opinions or evaluations about a subject's popularity or impact on society. Any such content would need to be attributed to a reliable source, and again, we would use neutral language, which "favourite hero" would not be. Same with "his most anticipated film", "it was indeed a great turnover around year of Jeet", "intense", "which is one of a kind - a solid content oriented project", "The concept of this film is very new and fresh in this industry", etc. This content, like the "blockbuster", "superhit" stuff, reads like an advertisement. I don't even know what "that film changed the business dynamics of Industry" is supposed to mean, because you provided no context. What changed? How did it change? You can't make grandiose claims without providing sufficient context.
  3. Then there are the glaring factual inaccuracies: The 2002 film Sathi, according to you, "became the highest grossing film of that year". True? No. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers was the highest grossing film of 2002. "Dui Prithibi was the highest grosser of 2010". Nope. Toy Story 3. "Besh Korechi Prem Korechi which turns out to be the biggest opener of 2015". No, that was probably "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens". Do you see the issue? If what is meant is "highest opening for an Indian Bengali-language film", then that's what should be said. Again, bold claims require proper context.
  4. Other issues: we need consistency in English grammar, spelling, capitalisation, etc. And there are specific rules for when we use bold and when we use italics. You should probably read our Manual of Style. Generally speaking, film titles, album titles, books, television series are italicised. We also typically only use bold in the lead the first time we mention the article subject.

Please keep these issues in mind going forward. In the interim, I have reverted your edits. You might want to do your work in your sandbox rather than editing the article directly. This might give you more time to make improvements. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 23:16, 31 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Jeetz Filmworks has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of passing WP:GNG or WP:NCORP

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — MarkH21talk 10:35, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Jeetz Filmworks requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.grassrootent.com/who-we-are/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — MarkH21talk 10:37, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
