Page blanking[edit]

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to Bus routes in Loughton. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia! --Allen3 talk 13:05, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bus Routes In ...[edit]

Just to let you know, all of these lists have been merged into List of bus routes in Essex/London/Kent/West Sussex. Wikipedia can't have an article on every UK district's buses. There would be thousands of them. --sonicKAI 10:53, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bus information[edit]

Thanks for your recent edits about bus services in the UK. Unfortuantely your articles listed below are duplicating the existing articles indicated and as they stand are what Wikipedia is not

  1. Bus Routes In Chigwell - Chigwell - List of bus routes in Essex
  2. Bus Routes In Chingford - Chingford - List of bus routes in London
  3. Bus Routes In Epping - Epping - List of bus routes in Essex
  4. Bus Routes In Hythe (Kent) - Hythe, Kent - List of bus routes in Kent
  5. Bus Routes In Loughton - Loughton - List of bus routes in Essex
  6. Bus Routes In New Romney - New Romney - List of bus routes in Kent
  7. Bus Routes In North Weald - North Weald - List of bus routes in Essex
  8. Bus Routes In Ongar - Chipping Ongar - List of bus routes in Essex
  9. Bus Routes In Romford - Romford - List of bus routes in London

Please by all means expand the following articles:

  1. List of bus routes in Essex
  2. List of bus routes in Kent
  3. List of bus routes in London
  4. List of bus routes in West Sussex

Or provide brief encyclopedic overview of bus services on the already existing district article pages. Any questions about the best way to present information use either the articles talk page or send me a message. Mrsteviec 10:57, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:602027000821-1-.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:602027000821-1-.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Your list IS valuable[edit]

The list (Bus routes) you created is/was up for deletion. I want you to know there is a place for it: http://wikitistics.com . No one will be able to nominate it for deletion because it fits one simple rule: it's a statistic, list, or figure. Good luck with your endeavors! Joe 16:09, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Clintona Minibuses[edit]

A tag has been placed on Clintona Minibuses requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Snigbrook (talk) 12:22, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on List of bus routes in Essex, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Not Wikipedia material, Wikipedia is not a Timetable

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you.
