A tag has been placed on User:TunerCar requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free Web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on TunerCar.ca, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Things to consider[edit]

  1. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, whose articles are about topics that are deemed notable. Just because something exists isn't necessarily enough to make it worthy of inclusion.
  2. Writing about your own website is an inherent conflict of interest and should be avoided.
  3. Wikipedia is not for promoting or publicizing your website.
  4. User pages are not encyclopedia articles. There are user page guidelines that detail what is considered acceptable content.

More advice[edit]

  • Sign your posts on talk pages. This helps show readers who said what, and when.
  • Please place comments at the bottom of the talk page, so that the discussion flows in the correct chronological order.
  • Please read Wikipedia:Notability (web). From its summary: Wikipedia should avoid articles about web sites that could be interpreted as advertising. For material published on the web to have its own article in Wikipedia, it should be notable and of historical significance. Wikipedia articles about web content should use citations from reliable sources.

Requested username:

Request reason:

Hi Jim and sorry for my misunderstanding.. I was using mobile edits and didnt understand how to navigate to this message. I didnt intend on promoting a website. I removed ALL LINKS to any website once I was aware of such a conflict.. I am sorry. May I please have my account and page back so I can publish proper documention and contribute information into the car/vehicle community. Thank you

Decline reason:

You may not use the username "TunerCar" for this account. Please select a new username. You may not write about TunerCar on Wikipedia. Please indicate what you intend to write about instead. Yunshui  12:53, 29 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

There have been two problems identified with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.

If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:23, 29 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Help me[edit]

edit this so it does not contest to your spam rules..?

TunerCar (talk) 05:30, 29 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your user page and article are both unsalvageable. They were both intended to tell the world about your website and drive traffic to it, which is promotional.
If you want to return to Wikipedia and contribute constructively, you'll need to request a change of username or make a new account, as well as comprehending the following:
