A belated welcome!

[edit]
Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Uayoa. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! Howicus (talk) 23:36, 12 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't forget to add WP:Sources!

[edit]

Hello, you're adding some good info to the firearms page, but the info is only as good as the sourcing you provide with it. Without sourcing, the info is just "some guy says", and worse it might even be something inaccurate that you once heard. For example, you added into at Steyr M1912 about the double-pistol, but not citation. It took me literally under a minute to check on GoogleBooks and find a proper citation, and another minute to go to http://reftag.appspot.com which instantly converts GoogleBooks links into Wikipedia footnotes.

Your enthusiasm is great, but without proper sourcing you're making work for other editors, and possibly risking perpetuating inaccurate info. See WP:Referencing for beginners if you have any questions, and feel free to message me on my Talk page. MatthewVanitas (talk) 21:11, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
