This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Shironamhin, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.shironamhin.com/history.php. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Speedy deletion of Shironamhin

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Shironamhin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. MrNerdHair (talk) 07:11, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Concerning your contribution, Image:Tusharkappor.jpg, please note that Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images obtained from other web sites or printed material, without the permission of the author(s). As a copyright violation, Image:Tusharkappor.jpg appears to qualify for deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. Image:Tusharkappor.jpg has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.

If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

  • If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on [[Talk:Image:Tusharkappor.jpg]].

[edit]

Hi
When you uploaded the images Image:Ziashironamhin.jpg and Image:Ajaydevgan2.jpg you selected a license that says that you are the copyright holder of both these pictures. I really think that this was a mistake. Both pictures looks like from a professional photo shoot, and can be found elsewhere on the web [1] [2].
Can you please reply here and say whether this is the case or not?
Thanks & Cheers, AmaltheaTalk 11:18, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for repeated uploading of copyright images. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Request reason:

i am new in here and know a little about editing.so consider my work and give a chance to edit file nicely and with copyrights

Decline reason:

I understand you're new, but so far you've completely ignored every warning we've tried to give you. There's no indication that you understand our policies on this matter or that you intend to stop uploading copyrighted works. — Hersfold (t/a/c) 20:03, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

{{unblock|i got all warnings but i thought that there is something wrong because i uploaded my images as someone uploaded same as me.i thought that his image did not deleted so my image also should not delete.I found my same in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Shahrukh_Khan_in_2008.jpg so give a last chance again.}}

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

The user doesn't have a long history of warnings, and it is conceivable they didn't know how to react. However, consider yourself on "probation" -- make sure you familiarise yourself with the procedures; if warned, try to understand why, ask around if need be, don't just ignore the warnings; and most importantly, understand that "he did it, so I can do it too" is not a valid argument -- if you stick around long enough you will realise that applies to any number of policies.

[edit]

Well, you did it again.

  1. You added textual content to Shironamhin which was taken pretty much word by word from here and/or here. You did it twice before, and it was removed twice before. You were warned on your talk page. You chose to ignore those warnings and paste it again, with minuscule changes.
  2. You uploaded Image:Shironamhinever.jpg, claiming that it was released by the band under the GFDL Version 1.2 or later. I see absolutely no proof of that on their page. Do you have any? Please respond below.

What you are doing is called a blatant copyright infringement. It's against policy you agreed to follow. You were warned for it, you were blocked for it. You asked to be unblocked and promised to respect copyright from now on. You were unblocked, and again asked to familiarize yourself with copyright policies.
Consider this, again, your final warning. Do read copyright policies. Do not copy and paste content from anywhere without the explicit knowledge that it complies with the GFDL again. Do not upload images again if you are not absolutely certain they comply with copyright policies. If in doubt, ask me, or at the Help desk.
If you ignore this warning and carry on as before, you will be blocked again.

I can't see any permission being granted anywhere. However, if you really think you have a case for this, please go to Wikipedia:Media copyright questions or Wikipedia:Contact us/Photo submission regarding the photo, and Wikipedia:Example requests for permission regarding the text -- but do not re-add the data until that is resolved. --Gutza T T+ 11:35, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

T can u give me more info.such the owner of the http://shironamhin.com is my friend. But i have to tell him to place the license tag on the page.He will place the tag quickly. But i have to tell the permission code full.So can u give write the permission code to me.Suppose the site name is shironamhin and picture name is zia so how will be the GFDL permission tag

what mean the self?—Preceding unsigned comment added by Ukhome (talkcontribs) 11:44, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The form is not important -- a simple note such as the one at the bottom of any page in Wikipedia will do (look at the very bottom of the page, note the line reading "All text is available under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License." Your friend only has to include such a line on the website and point to whatever material they choose to release under GNU FDL (e.g. "The image above is available under the terms of....", or "The text above is available under the terms of..."). --Gutza T T+ 11:55, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

what is wrong now. There is a copyright tag under the page of the image source. But what is the trouble. What is going on?The author of the image tagged the license code under the page so why is it under possible unfree image.

can u tell me about that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ukhome (talkcontribs) 10:12, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is tagged as a possibly unfree image because I, for one, doubt that the operator of http://sadisherpur0.oxyhost.com/ is also the copyright holder of the image he uses, thus if he can release that image under the terms of the GFDL.
Do you know more about that? Do you know who took that picture? And am I right in assuming that you set that page up? --AmaltheaTalk 12:18, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

the owner of the http://sadisherpur0.oxyhost.com is me!now what is needed to do?So what can i do?how many tag should i have to tagged? What is wrong?Should i tagged hundred tags?

can u tell me and help me about that?

That depends. Have you personally taken that picture? --AmaltheaTalk 12:57, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
...or do you otherwise own the copyright for that picture? E.g. are you their producer, did you pay for the photo shoot? --Gutza T T+ 13:38, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

the owner of the picture is ziaur rahman. He captured the photo and edited it.Now he told me to use it in wikipedia. Now what is need?It has became very difficult to work on wikipedia. What is now? This is only for a simple picture!

Can u tell me and help me about that?

Ziaur Rahman?! --Gutza T T+ 14:04, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
:) No, the band member with the same name I guess. --AmaltheaTalk 14:59, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, copyright issues are a complicated matter. "Told me to use it in wikipedia" is, I'm afraid, not quite sufficient for our image use policy. I had previously sent the band an e-mail concerning the pictures, but haven't heard back from them yet.
Concerning the case at hand, only the copyright holder can release the image under the terms of the GFDL, and copyright was not transferred to you by the statement given above.
I'd suggest we wait a couple more days and see if the band gets back to me, so that we can discuss a proper release of one of their pictures. --AmaltheaTalk 14:59, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I haven't heard back from them so far.
Lacking the explicit consent of the copyright holder I would say that both Image:Shironamhin01.jpg and Image:Shironamhinever.jpg must be deleted again.
Ukhome, you said that the band owner were your friend. If you live near them, maybe you can just shoot a new photo yourself. In any case, don't upload a new one if you didn't take it yourself please. If you find one that you think can be used, please notify me or Gutza so that we can have a look at it first.
Cheers, AmaltheaTalk 11:37, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

any help Gutza or Amalthea??

And I'm at a loss for words. Ukhome, why did you replace the image with yet another copyright violation. You again claim to hold copyright, but you don't! I explicitly told you to ask before you upload another. My good faith is at an end. --AmaltheaTalk 12:50, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No warnings?! You have received several warnings, how can you possibly say you received none? After being blocked and unblocked for this same matter you have received, in chronological order, a final warning, explanation and advice, more explanations, notification you haven't acted upon, friendly warning, more explanations, and finally bewilderment (which, as usual, you never addressed). You've actually received a lot more warnings than you should have, and the matter has been explained extensively. --Gutza T T+ 15:30, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Our band? Since when are you part of that band?
Your most recent copyright violations are this edit, this edit, and your recent image uploads. We've talked at length that you must not introduce text or images that have been previously published elsewhere into Wikipedia. You've been blocked for the very same text you've again added to Shironamhin. You've been informed about it here, and it has been noted in the page history. You've again uploaded images that I'm certain you don't own copyright of, with a scant "permission: given" comment. Since you've been blocked before for just that behavior, if you still don't try to tread lightly around image uploads I really can't help you; I have urged you before to ask before you upload another image. Lastly, you've added a huge paragraph to the article Sajid Khan (director), which was a verbatim copy from this page. Are you claiming that you've written that biography there, too?
With your editing, you're bringing yourself, Wikipedia, and everyone who is reusing Wikipedia's content in good faith into legal jeopardy. Since you seem unwilling to learn how to contribute properly, your editing privileges have been revoked for one month. Also note that if you are going to add more copyright violations, once your block has expired, then the next block will be of indefinite length.

I will not. I've pointed you often enough at information how such material can be released under the GFDL. You however chose to go on as before.
In any case, this doesn't change the copyright violation at Sajid Khan (director).
