Hi, You reverted my edit on indo-european languages. Actually Bengali & Bengali-Assamese are two different languages. Although both have same roots, but these 2 languages are different. Bengali-Assamese script & grammar is also different from Bengali language. Wasif Raiyan (talk) 21:11, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
You also reverted my edit on "South Asia". You noted " Already listed in official languages". If you look carefully Punjabi, Tamil,Hindi are listed in official languages too. But they were also listed on their respective branch. My request to you, please read *carefully* Wasif Raiyan (talk) 21:17, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
Look what! @Dottasriel2000 did the same edit in "South Asia" what I've done before. Then why you reverted my edit but accepted his/her edit?! Wasif Raiyan (talk) 11:50, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
- Well, thanks for pointing that out. Cleaned up now in South Asia. For clarification: Bengali is a language. Bengali-Assamese is a language group that comprises Bengali, Assamese, Hajong, Rajbanshi etc. Bengali is just one member of this language group. –Austronesier (talk) 13:10, 2 May 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Indo-Aryan languages. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges on that page. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. Incorrect use of minor
[edit]Hi Wasif Raiyan! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Bangladesh genocide that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. --Worldbruce (talk) 20:48, 3 July 2023 (UTC)
- Hi Wasif Raiyan, this is also not a minor edit. Please stop checking the box when it's not a minor edit. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 08:01, 24 September 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Arjayay. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Bengalis, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 19:01, 11 June 2024 (UTC)
