[edit]Hello, I'm Sro23. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Maty Noyes without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Sro23 (talk) 16:42, 27 June 2016 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Maty Noyes, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Hi. If you're having problems with visual editor, you can disable it. In your preferences, go to "editing" and and check "Temporarily disable the visual editor while it is in beta". Sro23 (talk) 17:30, 27 June 2016 (UTC)
A cup of tea for you!
[edit]I wanted to say good job with improving the Maty Noyes page and sorry for the confusion yesterday on my talk page. I'm glad you got the edits done the way you were looking to. RickinBaltimore (talk) 15:35, 28 June 2016 (UTC) |
Toro Rosso 2017 Engines
[edit]Although Toro Rosso will use Renault engines for 2017, we don't know what name the engine will have. For example, Red Bull have "Tag Heuer" branded engines, and so Toro Rosso's might be branded by a sponsor too. It was agreed here to list them as TBA until we know what name they'll give the engines. Most importantly no power unit supplier is listed on FIA's entry list. That's why we can't include one.Tvx1 16:40, 29 January 2017 (UTC)

[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on 2017 Formula One season. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Tvx1 16:41, 29 January 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Please check your sources before making edits. formula1.com is managed by FOM, and FOM is completely separate to the FIA. It has no regulatory powers of its own. Every other source on the halo makes it clear that the rules must be ratified by the WMSC before they become a part of the technical regulations. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 12:15, 22 July 2017 (UTC)
- Once again, you need to read your sources. The source that you have provided only references the Strategy Working Group, which is not part of the FIA. The rules regarding the halo still need to be approved by the WMSC before they become a part of the technical regulations. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 12:48, 22 July 2017 (UTC)

.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

Please don't forget to sign your posts
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Talk:2018 Formula One season, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thanks. -- de Facto (talk). 08:36, 26 July 2017 (UTC)
