The article Albert Tafel has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Why "biography of a living person"? He died in april 1935 in Heidelberg, Germany. --Willyman (talk) 10:35, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You are correct, my apologies, thank you for adding a reference section, for Albert Tafel, you need to transform those references into inline citations, here is a quick reference on how to do so: Wikipedia:Tutorial/Citing sources.
I Have added the needed code to the section, now you just need to insert the inline citations at the right places in the article and remove the bullets from the references section. My recommendation is that you use the cite templates in the editor. When editing the article, click on the cite menu at the top of the window and then select the appropriate template on the left in the line bellow. For example "cite book".--Crystallizedcarbon (talk) 12:05, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm a little frustrated that the syntax I'm used to practice in my standard german wikipedia, especially the transformation of references. I need some time to do it with cite templates editor
Before you are wondering, why both Albert Tafel articles in english and german are identical, I wrote both

Wunderbar, welcome back to English Wikipedia, Take your time with the article, if you need any help with the syntax let me know. --Crystallizedcarbon (talk) 17:13, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A page you started (Albert Tafel) has been reviewed![edit]

Thanks for creating Albert Tafel, Willyman!

Wikipedia editor Crystallizedcarbon just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

I have marked the article as patrolled, good job with the references. now you just need to move the inline citations up to each paragraph been sourced and add back the reflist

I have to do it? Why? In most other articles the method I used is accepted. I made some trial and error experiences with your proposal in my sand box and realized that I cannot find a dozen keywords to use as anchor for 12 references. Filcher e.g. would make sense but the others?

Sophie Reyer moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Sophie Reyer. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and it is a copyright violation of https://dewiki.de/Lexikon/Sophie_Reyer, and it reads like a resume. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 14:21, 7 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have no idea how to resolve this dilemma, because the German article is mostly written by me (see 31 January 2014) and so I am committing a copywright violation of my own article.
I have written some articles in German and English in the past, and there were no difficulties despite the identical text (e.g. Albert Tafel and Gustav Tafel).

Speedy deletion nomination of Sophie Reyer[edit]

Hello Willyman,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Sophie Reyer for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Hello Raydan,
I don't know why one of the best young poets and writers in Austria today should not have sufficient importance in the English Wiipedia as in the German one.
So I ask, what could be sufficiently important in this entry, which is not proposed for deletion:
