[edit]Cool! With all the introductory sentences that roll in, it's hard to tell who's expanding stuff. Thanks for the update! - Lucky 6.9 02:01, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
Armageddon
[edit]I was just wondering if there was some reason why you revert all my edits. I'm not deleting any information, so I don't understand your edit summaries. You even reverted the John of Patmos image at one point, so the issue doesn't seem to relate to content.Kauffner 05:55, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Peer Review for Song Dynasty
[edit]Hello, I've recently put a lot of work into the Song Dynasty article, and I was wondering if you had the time to give a little peer review, providing suggestions, advice, opinions, etc. I'm shooting for featured article status, and it is very close in my opinion to reaching it.

[edit]Hey, Winn3317. Just a heads up: I fixed the nomination of Romance of the Three Kingdoms to Wikipedia:Featured article candidates for you. It's a bit confusing how to do a nomination, so please feel free to ask me for help in the future if you need it. The nomination page can be seen at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Romance of the Three Kingdoms. — Brian (talk) 01:48, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
Hey, I removed {{Wikipedia:Featured portal candidates/Portal:Three Kingdoms}}, because there is no actual portal of the name. Joe I 02:06, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
- First maybe you should bring up the question at Portal talk:China. I'm not sure if the subject would really be broad enough, but someone over there should be able to tell ya. After that, I would be more than willing to help you out. Joe I 02:22, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:Civ 09iroquois hiawatha.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Civ 09iroquois hiawatha.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:05, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Image tagging for Image:Hiawatha.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Hiawatha.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Hiawatha.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Hiawatha.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 05:19, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Pelham Winslow requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. GringoInChile 01:00, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Indiantroopsonparade.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Indiantroopsonparade.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Shell babelfish 08:44, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
