You can edit the top section (WP:Lead section) in two ways.
  • By clicking the Edit button on top of the article which on clicking enables you to edit the article as a whole. (That is located between Read and History.
  • The second way is to activate a separate edit link to lead section. This enables you to edit the lead section only. To activate this, follow these steps: Click My preferences when you are logged in and you will go to Special:Preferences. Then click on gadgets tab. On that page, go to the section Appearance. Select the first box below it which says: "Add an [edit] link for the lead section of a page" Then click save. Then on, you will see a link edit to the lead section similar to the one for sections and subsections.
Dont be shy, if you have a question, then ask it out. WP has got several help forums to help editors. See Help:Contents. You can also ask questions at talk pages of experienced wikipedians like SwisterTwister. ···Vanischenu「m/Talk」 07:18, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Revert

[edit]

Thank you for your edits to Synthetic fiber. They were in intended to be constructive and you are of course a good faith editor. Unfortunately, I reverted those edits as they were not sourced. Also it has been written from your personal point of view. Also, sentences like When one of your synthetic clothes have served there life they can not biodegrade very easily meaning they are very bad for the enviroment. are to be avoided in articles.

If you can, please provide references for them so that the content can verified by others. I hope the following links would help you.
WP:References · WP:Truth · WP:verifiability · WP:Sources · WP:MoS

You can insert the source between <ref>Information about the source here</ref>. Don't worry about the formatting, some other wikipedian will come and correct it later. The important thing is to provide the info about the source. Thank you and have a great day. Happy editing. ···Vanischenu「m/Talk」 07:18, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
