Re: this edit, if you don't know what a template like {{As of}} is for, you shouldn't be deleting it. "Currently" is a meaningless word in the context of a global encyclopedia. A casual reader will have no idea if "currently" was written today, or ten years ago. That's why we use clear language like {{As of|2018|09}} which renders as "As of September 2018". This makes it super-clear when the claim in the article was made, i.e. September 2018. If the As of date were a while back like 2015, the reader could estimate that maybe the information is no longer current. This template also adds the article to a hidden category of articles with ephemeral statements, so that people familiar with the show can update the claim if they are so motivated.
