This is basically illegible due to formatting issues:
You need to leave a blank line between each paragraph, otherwise they just run together.
When you have a "ref" marker you need a corresponding "/ref" marker at the end of the footnote. That's why your footnotes aren't working, you're missing the end of the code. See WP:REFB for how to code footnotes.
I'll fix the first paragraph or two for you so you can see the difference, but you need to fix the rest before we even try to review this.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.
If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Elizabeth Currid-Halkett and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
