[edit]Hello, I'm Deli nk. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. [1] Deli nk (talk) 14:12, 31 January 2019 (UTC)

Paid editing?
[edit]Hello Zgover. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Zgover. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Zgover|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Theroadislong (talk) 16:11, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
- In response to claim of compensation for editing, I am not and I did not receive or provide compensation for editing. zgover (talk) 17:05, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
- In which case I wonder how you came to be editing this draft? Theroadislong (talk) 17:09, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
- I see that a cursory Google search reveals that you are indeed paid by Caringo. You are required to make the mandatory disclosure or you will be blocked. Theroadislong (talk) 17:18, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
- To clarify, yes I am a primary source from Caringo. However they are not providing compensation for my independent efforts towards my contributions on Wikipedia. zgover (talk) 17:29, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
- That is irrelevant, you work for Caringo so you are deemed to be a paid editor and are required to make the mandatory disclosure. Theroadislong (talk) 17:32, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
- I understand the conflict of interest and I have made the update to my user page to reflect required disclosure. I appreciate your clarity. zgover (talk) 17:58, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
- Correcting timestamp of above. Also added the appropriate disclosures on the article talk page. zgover (talk) 18:14, 2 October 2020 (UTC)

Asking about paid editing again
[edit] As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Zgover, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Zgover|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Theroadislong (talk) 17:21, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
