Vichitra Prema (English: Variety Love) is a 1991 Telugu, comedy film, produced by A.Suryanarayana on Sri Lakshmi Narayana Enterprises banner and directed by Jandhyala.[2] Starring Rajendra Prasad, Amurtha in the lead roles and music composed by K. V. Mahadevan.[3]
Plot
The film begins two best friends Seetapathi (Subbaraya Sarma) & Major Pratapa Rao (Abhishith Varma) fixing up their children Sivudu (Rajendra Prasad) & Parvathi's (Amurtha) alliance in their childhood itself. The children grow up with petty quarrels which go on increasing day by day. So, their elders separate them for 10 years. Unknowingly, they meet each other and an incident makes Parvathi misunderstand Sivudu as a thief. Eventually, they meet along with their elders when the quarrel arises between them and it turns into hatred. Even then their elders forcibly start their marriage arrangements, to escape from it Sivudu & Parvathi takes the help of their friend Babji (Brahmanandam) and he gives an idea to separate their parents. All of them play a drama along with a few drama artists Venkatrao (Suthi Velu) & Kalpana (Jayalalitha) and successfully makes the elders friendship into enmity. After that, many truths come forward which make Parvathi realize the virtue of Sivudu. Parallelly, Parvathi goes into the trap of a cheater Avinash (Navabharat Balaji) where Sivudu comes to her rescue. From there onwards, they start truly loving each other. Here, both the elders' bursts out with fire, make them separated and forcibly arrange their marriages with unknown people. At last, Sivudu reveals the truth with the help of his friends and reunites the elders. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Sivudu & Parvathi.
