Sheffield Park Academy, a secondary school with academy status located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England, opened in September 2006. the school is sponsored by United Learning.

The school is a co-educational school with pupils aged 11 to 18.


The Executive Principal at Sheffield Park Academy is Mr C Dillon. He is supported by a Senior Leadership team including Mrs S Szafraniec (Executive Director) and Mrs C Bailey (Associate Principal). The Academy is housed in a purpose built £30 million building, which opened in 2008 and collaborates closely with its sister academy, Sheffield Springs Academy, sharing many staff and resources.

Academic achievements[edit]

After a visit from Ofsted inspectors in June 2013, the Academy was given a "good" grading in all 4 aspects of the inspection framework.

In 2014 the Academy achieved GCSE outcomes which were significantly above the national average with 65% of students achieving 5 or more A* to C passed including English and Maths (national average 55%). 92% of students made at least 3 levels of progress in English (national percentile rank 1, highest percentage of all Sheffield Schools) and 72% made at least 3 levels of progress in Maths (national average 65%).
