Maltese national selection
It was announced in July 2014 by the Maltese broadcaster, Public Broadcasting Services (PBS) that new rules and regulations for the competition allowed the artist, author and composer of the winning entry to change parts of the winning song or the entire song for the Eurovision Song Contest. As a result, they had the option of changing Amber's winning song, "Warrior", or replacing it with another song. However, "Warrior" was still the song that represented Malta in the contest.
