red-outlined triangle containing exclamation point There has been a mistake. The English article's name is en:Silistar, not en:Силистар (защитена местност). bg:Силистар (защитена местност) should be imported to en:Silistar; and en:Силистар (защитена местност) should be deleted. --Fippe (talk) 16:49, 1 August 2021 (UTC)
Oops, sorry about that, all fixed now. Graham87 04:31, 2 August 2021 (UTC)

Why did you drop and then remove the article? Is there a problem? ! Bikkit ! (talk) 11:07, 7 August 2021 (UTC)
@! Bikkit !: everything seems fine, you can continue from any version in the page history by clicking on it, then clicking edit. Best regards, — xaosflux Talk 12:07, 7 August 2021 (UTC)
@! Bikkit !: I wasn't sure what you wanted to do with the placeholder text you created at that link, so I reverted to it to givey ou a fresh start. In the future, there's no need for such placeholder text. Graham87 14:19, 7 August 2021 (UTC)
OK! Thanks, everything's fine! Must go, got work... ! Bikkit ! (talk) 15:30, 7 August 2021 (UTC)

@Fippe: Not done; we can't dump non-English tempklates straight in to the template namespace. It's probably best inn this case to do the translations of both the template and documentation pages and then ask to have the de.wp imported. Graham87 15:42, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
@Graham87: Translation of the template and the documentation page done, please import the history of the template and the documentation page. --Fippe (talk) 23:11, 12 August 2021 (UTC)

It is not good enough, the terms of the Creative Commons BY-SA license must be respected all individual authors must be named. It does not matter if there are "overlapping edits". --Fippe (talk) 18:31, 14 August 2021 (UTC)
Yes, it does; it is no coincidence that there is basically only one major Wikimedia project that takes such a hard line on attribution ... that is: the German Wikipedia. In every edit box here it says: "You agree that a hyperlink or URL is sufficient attribution under the Creative Commons license."; a wikilink is given by your edit summary and attribution can also be given by {{copied}} on the talk page. Importation of edits is not mandatory here, per Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia; I would oppose changing this in the strongest terms. Graham87 04:46, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
@Fippe: Redoing ping. Graham87 04:50, 15 August 2021 (UTC)

  • Note: Translation --Tobiasi0 (talk) 13:11, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
  • Note by importing administrator: Not done. @Tobiasi0: there are too many revisions for the page to be imported reliably. I have tried importing it using the normal interwiki import method, which produces duplicate revisions, along with an XML upload (both as a whole and splitting the file in two), and all of these methods timed out. Since importing is by no means required here,, I don't see the point of working on this any further; using {{Translated page}} on the talk page along with appropriate attribution in the article's edit summary will have to do. • Note: I imported the German summary of the documentary and request the import of the page history so that author's rights are respected.--Gabel1960 (talk) 12:24, 14 November 2021 (UTC)
  • Note by importing administrator:  Not done @Gabel1960: thank you for improving the article, as there were at least some parts that had previously existed the histories would intermix and make this more confusing so we will not import the other revisions. Your edit summary, as well as the translated tag I place on the talk page will suffice for attribution purposes (...a hyperlink or URL is sufficient attribution under the Creative Commons license."). — xaosflux Talk 12:31, 14 November 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for the quick reply. I must have expressed myself incorrectly. These are not shared accounts. It's just about translating Sebastian Steudner's article into English as well, since he is an international athlete and the site is relevant in English as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Agathakastenhuber (talkcontribs) 10:51, 24 November 2021 (UTC)

  • Language: de:Nadine Hwang
  • New name: User:YodaYawn/sandbox
  • Note: You could also create a subpage called User:YodaYawn/Nadine_Hwang, if you think that is more appropriate. But it'd be fine if she can work on it in her sandbox. Requesting this import for a new user who has no computer at hand right now as she's travelling. Would be marvellous, if she could start editing in it at our next editing group meeting tomorrow. --Grizma (talk) 20:25, 1 March 2022 (UTC)

Not done; we can't import non-English articles straight into the article namespace. I wouldn't do it anyway though because you appear to have very little experience on any Wikipedia project, thus strongly indicating that you have a conflict of interest. Graham87 15:05, 8 March 2022 (UTC)
Hello Graham, i am the office of the association. Who else than me can give information? Its no conflict of interest. Geschäftsstelle SMI (talk) 21:31, 14 March 2022 (UTC)
That is the very definition of a conflict of interest on Wikipedia]]. We need to wait until an established Wikipedia editor thinks it's worthy of an article here, using indendependent reliable sources. Graham87 14:05, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
