- If possible, refactor to use {{Infobox football club season}}, instead of {{Infobox}} directly, then subst and delete —PC-XT+ 00:14, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
- The only real difference I see is in the top goalscorer options. I suppose {{Infobox football club season}} could be edited to allow the omitting of one topscorer parameter in this manner. —PC-XT+ 21:31, 11 December 2013 (UTC)

- A college draft is not a football league season. It is a concept that is primarily used in North American sports where professional teams take turn picking players from colleges to join their team. There was no generic college draft template that I could find and thus this one was created modeled after the MLS SuperDraft template. I-miss-carm (talk) 5:06, 10 December 2013 (UTC)
- @I-miss-carm: The name of a template doesn't always fit its use. That's what redirects are for. The main thing that matters is that the template used has the necessary capability, and doesn't add confusing or otherwise unwanted information. Do you think Template:Infobox football league season would be unfit for this use? If not, we could redirect the draft name to the season template to help keep the number of templates down. If it doesn't have enough options, we could possibly merge the two. —PC-XT+ 07:42, 10 December 2013 (UTC)
- @PC-XT: I think many football league editors would be upset if the draft info were added to that template. The only overlapping item between the two is the year/season. Creating a generic draft template, as Frietjes stated, would be a better idea. I-miss-carm (talk) 22:25, 11 December 2013 (UTC)

An additional general point, not related exclusively to this discussion, is that I think we should use {{Unreliable source inline}} to tag specific sources, rather than add {{Unreliable sources}} to the article.
