- Template:Nebraska Cornhuskers Women's Track and Field (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
- Template:Nebraska Cornhuskers Men's Track and Field (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
each only really links two articles, since these templates would not be transcluded in any of the "culture" articles. hence, they are redundant to the prose in the parent Nebraska Cornhuskers article, and should be merged there. they could be potentially moved to Nebraska Cornhuskers women's track and field and Nebraska Cornhuskers men's track and field, then expanded into an article (or to Nebraska Cornhuskers track and field), but currently no parent articles exist. Frietjes (talk) 16:51, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
- Delete. Complete (and typical) misunderstanding as to what the purpose of a navbox is. This is a list masquerading as a navbox with no links that are actually relevant to the topic of Nebraska's track and field teams. This adds only clutter to the Nebraska Cornhuskers article and is of no navigational value. Resolute 00:34, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
- Delete. I agree with Resolute that the creator of these navboxes seems to misunderstand the primary purpose of a navbox: to provide navigational links to closely related articles. This presumes, of course, that there is existing related content to which to navigate. These navboxes seem to be have been created in imitation of those for other college sports teams for which such content does exist. In the case of these particular Nebraska Cornhusker sports team navboxes, the typical related articles to which a college sports team navbox might link -- (1) stadiums/arenas/playing fields, (2) coaches, (3) lists of notable players, (4) championships, (5) notable seasons, and (6) other articles closely related to the particular team -- simply do not exist. Oddly, in the case of the Cornhusker soccer and track teams, there is not even an underlying stand-alone article per the WP:NAVBOX guidelines. Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 17:58, 24 February 2013 (UTC)

each is currently only used to link two articles. hence, are redundant to the prose in the parent Nebraska Cornhuskers women's volleyball and Nebraska Cornhuskers women's gymnastics articles. Frietjes (talk) 16:47, 23 February 2013 (UTC)

only really links two articles, since this template would not be transcluded in any of the "culture" articles. hence, it is redundant to the prose in the parent Nebraska Cornhuskers rifle article. Frietjes (talk) 16:40, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
- Delete. Per both my rationale in the other discussions, but also because this navbox actually links no relevant articles. This is clutter, nothing more. Resolute 00:37, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
