April 12[edit]

01:07:57, 12 April 2018 review of submission by Burt Harris[edit]

Over the time since I first submitted this, substantial developments have occurred related to I3C. The specification has been publicly released, a support subsystem patch has been submitted to the Linux Kernel, and an additional source of I3C implementation IP from a major semiconductor vendor (NXP) has been announced. I think this variety of sources should address the notability requirement.

There was some comment about the formatting of my submission, but to be frank I'm not experienced enough in writing Wikipedia style to know what to do about it. The previous decliner has apparently had their account suspended. I've briefly updated the article to add references for developments above, and would like the help of experienced editors in fixing any other problems.

I need help because my reviewer decided to decline my page Draft:Wisconsin/Michigan Hi-Q twice because he claims that Delco Hi-Q is the same exact thing, but if you would please review each article, I believe that there is an important difference due to the sponsorship information, Finalists, member schools, etc. I believe that Wisconsin should have the benefit of being represented on Wikipedia like Pennsylvania and Washington have for their competitions.

My draft The Undisputed Era (2) needs to be consolidated with another draft called The Undisputed Era , which was written by another author. The "original" page includes way less references, citation and details than mine while my draft doesn't include pictures. I'm waiting to get permition to upload a picture by the owner so that I can possibly use it on my draft. Should I still wait for my page to get reviewed ? Nick Sideris (talk) 07:06, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Nick Sideris - I think something like this should probably be discussed at WikiProject Pro Wrestling (I'm a member). The stable you are mentioning is clearly notable, but I would feel a lot of editors would feel it should be merged with ReDRagon. Whilst there are articles like the one you are referring to (a stable with a tag team article as well) (Such as the Bullet Club, and The Elite (professional wrestling)), The Undisputed Era isn't exactly a prominent team in this way. I feel like a conversation on that talk page may be the best place for something like this. For this purpose, I have set up a talk there (Which you can see here.
I'll take a look at the draft however, and merge what's needed. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 14:04, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request on 07:18:31, 12 April 2018 for assistance on AfC submission by Prakash.goath[edit]

Can anyone working at Global Value Investment Corp. create an WIKI page for the same?

If no its okay.

If yes, would you please email me my contents so that i can do the modifications to it and give you a compliant page?

@Prakash.goath: unfortunately the page in your Userspace was a copyright infringement and therefore qualified for speedy deletion. In addition, someone working at Global Value Investment Corp. cannot create a page for the company as this is a conflict of interest (COI). You have come to the right place as if you have a COI, like you do, you should put new articles through the articles for creation process. Please note that if you have a COI, you must also disclose it on any talk page you discuss the topic on, see WP:DISCLOSE for information on how to do that. Also, if the page is created, please do not edit it directly but request an edit on the talkpage of the page by using the {{request edit}} template. I have repeatedly posted a picture from wikicommons, after uploading it there, to a page. I am the owner of the image, and yet it's been repeatedly removed from the page (this page, Steve_Orlando). Could you assist me in placing an author photo on this page?Steven Nathan (talk) 13:03, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Steven Nathan (talk) 13:03, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Steven Nathan: I checked your image and it is indeed labeled Creative Commons license, so I'm not sure why it's automatically being flagged as WP:Fair use. That said, the only reason you're getting the blocked image is because you're in Draftspace, the image will resolve to the actual photo if/when the Draft is moved to Articlespace. Having a photo or no has zero bearing on the article being approved, so rather than dwell to much on why it's erroring, I'd suggest just getting the article fine-tuned and published and the issue will resolve itself when it does. I admit it's a weird error, but it should end up being a non-issue. MatthewVanitas (talk) 04:23, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

18:38:17, 12 April 2018 review of submission by Manju7681[edit]

I think it is better to ask the experienced editors would be ready to help at any stage of the article, to make the article better explained, by providing the links which I have left out to cite.Manju7681 (talk) 18:38, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Manju7681: you're off to a good start, but you only footnote one reference and just list several others (which look very useful) at the end. I would suggest instead that you look at those additional sources find key facts in them then add those facts to the article and cite your sources.
It would appear that some of your sources have key information your article is missing, like when did this program begin, who is promoting it, how has it been received by the public? Just by the titles of your extra articles I can tell the answer is there in them.
So, go through your "extra" sources and incorporate facts they prove, cited to said source with a good footnote, and that will leave you with a much stronger article. MatthewVanitas (talk) 04:26, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
