Wikipedia section
[edit]Would anyone object to my removing from the "Wikipedia" section those userboxes which aren't for WikiProjects? That's the name of the page, so boxes like {{User freespeech}} - and I can see the irony of picking that one - don't really belong here. --Whouk (talk) 15:14, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
- Isn't this a WikiProject?--Fenice 15:27, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
- Hmm, forget I said that. {{User AWWD}} might be a better example. On the other hand, I could go and climb under a stone... --Whouk (talk) 15:43, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, you are right. This one belongs on that page: Wikipedia:Userboxes/Wikipedia or on /Funny. --Fenice 15:52, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
- Done. Thanks for the pointer. --Whouk (talk) 16:05, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

Bypass WikiProject Psychology userbox redirect
[edit]I forgot to update the WP:AWB edit note when I bypassed the WikiProject Psychology userbox redirect. Sorry for any confusion. Rfrisbietalk 21:59, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
Transformers boxes
[edit]There are several entries here for "Transformers" project. This purpose could probably be better served by one box like the others on the list. Chapium 04:22, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
WikiProject Userbox
[edit]A new WikiProject userbox for WikiProject Cetaceans was created, and should be added to this page. It can be found at Wikipedia:WikiProject Cetaceans/Userbox. --Gray Porpoise 18:56, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
Userbox migration
[edit]Some userboxes have been moved, but the template used in this page is too restrictive to put the new boxes, and I don't have the template skills to create a new template... Could someone correct this?--Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 12:44, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
I propose a format change for this userbox page
[edit]I was going through today and looking for invalid userbox and invalid images in them. I came upon this page to find it having a horrid format showing many of the sources of the userboxes and I can't seem to figure out which ones are valid and which ones are not. So I propose reformating the list to the version you see at Wikipedia:Userboxes/Profession which uses the same system as the new box proposal. I will go ahead and start working a new format of this one using that system on a temporary page. If anyone is against this idea or support it please post below. I will be starting on the temporary page to prep the new format as soon as possible so it can quickly be copied and pasted right here when ready. If there's any new boxees added to this list during that time I will try to include them. Sawblade05 04:01, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
- I have got the reformated page ready to go it is up on a tempoary page at User:Sawblade05/tempoaryWikipedia:Userboxes/WikiProjects. I will put it up if you Wikipedians don't mind it. Sawblade05 08:34, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
- I went ahead and placed the new format in there and all userboxes work. I used the templates template:Usbk and template:Usbkc when there's parameters are in use. If you have a problem with this format please discuss it here and don't revert the page to the old format. This format in use is being used for adding new userboxes so I believe this should be the standard on all Userbox list pages. Sawblade05 04:31, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
WikiProject Grammer Missing
[edit]I don't see this box on the list. It may also be called the League of Copyeditors (I am unsure), which is why it's not there.

One project one userbox?
[edit]Is there a limit to the number of userboxen of the type "This user is a member of Wikiproject Suchandsuch" each Wikiproject can have? Or are slightly differently phrased/coloured/formatted versions permitted? Skomorokh incite 22:28, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
Restructure
[edit]Anybody mind if I sub-divided Geography into Countries and "States/Provinces" (not sure what other terms might apply there... -- Mjquin_id (talk) 02:14, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
BabelBoxCommons
[edit]The new version of {{BabelBoxCommons}} takes up to five parameters, making the message fully localizable and customizable. I don't know how much of that information is of interest for this list, but now you have it. ;) Regards, Paradoctor (talk) 18:33, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
Missing WikiProjects
[edit]Where are all of the singer/band/artist/musician templates? I would like to add the user template for WikiProject Björk and WikiProject Rufus Wainwright to the list, but I don't see any musician project to group them with. --Another Believer (Talk) 22:13, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
Page not displaying properly
[edit]This page is not displaying properly. It does display well until it encounters the Paranormal1 userbox:
This user is a participant in WikiProject Paranormal. |
After that one, every other transclusion displays instead as eerie text links to the right of the Paranormal1 userbox. Are there too many userboxes in this page so as to overload the buffers and stop properly transcluding additional userboxes? --SilSinn9821 (talk) 02:11, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
