Drag queens?

[edit]

I don't feel strongly either way, but would new articles about drag queens count? ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:00, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Seems to me that most drag queens gain their notability as their female character (though obviously there are drag artists who are also female and develop a male character), regardless of their gender, or gender identity. It would seem odd to develop an article around the real name of someone known mostly by a stage name, i.e. Joseph Levitch is a redirect. I would include them, but will go with whatever consensus emerges. SusunW (talk) 20:16, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
SusunW, I agree, the female personas are most often what makes the individual notable, but I just didn't want to be that guy creating articles about men and associating them with this project inappropriately. Maybe I'll just add any I create in the near future to the list, and members are free to remove any not adhering to this group's mission. Happy editing, all! ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:27, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ongoing discussion re: notability of Acid Betty at Talk:Acid Betty. ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:19, 7 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Another Believer and SusunW, IMO, yes to articles about drag queens. #inclusionist #broadlyconstruedshouldcoverit --Rosiestep (talk) 20:58, 7 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
