Woodbine is an unincorporated community in York County, Pennsylvania, United States. Until 1978, this community was served by the Maryland and Pennsylvania Railroad at milepost 50.6.

Geography

Woodbine is located at 39°47′05″N 76°24′21″W / 39.78472°N 76.40583°W / 39.78472; -76.40583 (39.7848255, -76.4057951). The small town was once served by a general store, post office, creamery, grist mill, garage, church, packing house and a dairy farm. The Ma and Pa railroad carried milk from the creamery to Baltimore Maryland. The grist mill was owned by David Hoffmaster and was converted into a machine shop. The mill was later purchased and turned into a home. The church was an Assembly of God Church. The garage was run by John Owad. The owner of the dairy farm (Amos Hively) left in the 1960s and moved to Australia. The farm was later purchased by Mrs. Annabel Lasker.
