Kingsbury, Warwickshire

I'm sure the closure of the swimming pool will be a great loss to the community, but unfortunately Wikipedia isn't the place to lobby for people to sign a petition. There are plenty of other places on the web where you can do this. One thought though, why don't you consider starting a petition on the Downing Street websire if you feel strongly about the issue. Your edit to the article answers the question of WP:V, but I'm just not convinced that the information is relevant to this article (though it obviously is to the school article). Wikipedia is not a soapbox

The information just isn't relevant to that particular article. It's as simple as that really. Local authorities are always withdrawing funding for this facility or that facility and including all this information on Wikipedia could be problematic. Consider, for example, if we were to add information on all the playing fields that get sold off for housing development or to build a new Tesco store, or the threat of the withdrawal of a local bus route. We could end up with paragraphs and paragraphs of information that's only useful to a handful of people. If you're still unhappy with this decision then please take a look at WP:DISPUTE and consider asking for some assistance. TheRetroGuy (talk) 23:24, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

ok, you're clearly not happy with all this so I'm not going to argue any more. As you're also not hapy with the third opinion of another editor then please go to WP:DISPUTE and post a request there.
