Isuzu Malaysia (IMSB) was established on September 6, 2004 as a commercial vehicle manufacturer with headquarters in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The plant is a joint venture between the company DRB-HICOM Bhd., Isuzu Operations (Thailand) Co. Ltd. and Isuzu Motors Asia Ltd. The management of the plant of about 700 workers is under the authority of the CEO Takashi Hata .

The campus includes the work of a small test track. This, the company shares with the adjacent defense contractor DRB-HICOM Defence Technologies Sdn. Bhd.., of some of the vehicles for different uses of Angkatan Tentera Malaysia remodels.

Isuzu Malaysia produces the Isuzu N-Series and the popular Isuzu D-Max. Just over 5,000 vehicles are produced here annually.
