The Providence Friars men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents Providence College. The Friars are a member of Hockey East. The skating Friars are currently coached by Nate Leaman, who came to Providence in 2011 from Union College. They play at the 3,030-seat Schneider Arena in Providence, Rhode Island,[1] which is widely considered one of the country's top college hockey venues.
