Taanach

Ta'anakh or Taanach is a small village in Israel in Ta'anakh region.

Just to the east is a 40 metre high moun which was the site of the biblical city Taanach. 12 Akkadian cuneiform tablets were found here. The main remain visible today is a 11th Century Abbasid palace.[1]
